Delicious, fresh food. A little pricey, but worth it. The view was beautiful. We sat outside over the water under an umbrella.

Went there this evening ,everything was going fine until three mice were running around the table beside us,it was as if we inconvenienced them when we demanded another table in a different part of the restaurant, there was no apologies and to compound things they...were overcharging for food we did not order or receive.will not be back.More

Lift just shines on warm summer days and evenings! Much of the restaurant is open air, thanks to huge glass doors that open wide and many tables placed on three different deck spaces. Every table has an incredible view of the water and yacht clubs...of Coal Harbour, with Stanley Park and the mountains in the background. We sat at a lovely table literally right over the water - just gorgeous! We enjoyed a yummy dinner starting with sharing a very generous, delicious salad and Humbolt Squid, followed by beautifully prepared Trout and Halibut. We were surprised by a complimentary dessert for two to help us celebrate our anniversary! The service was excellent, and the ambiance was lovely, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. If you are looking for a perfect spot to enjoy brunch or an excellent seafood dinner combined with a magical location on a summer evening, this is it!More

We went to Lift for a late lunch/early dinner during happy hour. When we arrived at 3pm we were told to come back in 20-30 minutes as they were no longer taking walk ins (despite the restaurant being almost empty and no reservations coming in...the meantime). We waited outside for 25 minutes and went back to the hostess to be seated. We ordered drinks, then ordered our food shortly after. We got oysters to start. The oysters weren’t chilled, and they arrived before we got our drinks. We had mac and cheese lobster for mains and fish and chips. The lobster mac and cheese was luke warm and tiny, there was a hair in the tartar sauce with the fish and chips. There was also a hair in our water glass. When the waitress eventually came back to us to clear our plates after not once checking our meal was okay, we pointed out the hair in the sauce and the water. Her response was ‘are you done with your dinner though’. No acknowledgement or apology. She proceeded to avoid us for the rest of our time at the restaurant. We asked for the bill. After serving every other table in the area and leaving us wait 15 minutes, she finally came back with the bill, threw it on the table and walked away. After waiting a further 10 minutes for her to come back with the machine, we got up and paid at the counter. We were charged in full for a meal with a hair in it, and shocking service to go with it. We will not be back!More

Group of four decided last minute to stop by late afternoon for a glass of wine and perhaps an appetizer. We sat at the bar and began enjoying a world class view and excellent service. We stayed entire evening enjoying fresh oysters followed by amazing...main course dishes, all benefiting from our servers knowledge of wine pairing with our meals. If you are visiting Vancouver and pressed for time, try what we did. Stop for a glass of wine at the bar. You will find the service best in class. Great view.More

I went with the family for brunch, it’s a great location but, the food sucks it’s super greasy. I would put it on the same level as Dennys. Mystified by all the great reviews. Probably won’t go again based on the quality of food and...price.More

This is a beautiful place with fantastic views of the water and the North Shore. We went at sunset and really enjoyed it. Drinks and food are nice. The only downside was that our waitress had no idea what she was doing. I don’t know...if she was new or just incompetent. There was a lady who would go to different tables telling people she was a good photographer and persistently asking them to pose for a picture! In fact she was pestering people and making them feel uncomfortable. I don’t know why the waitress or the management was not doing anything about it. It would have been a great experience with better service.More

We had an excellent lunch at Lift Bar and Grill following a cycle around Stanley Park. The service was very attentive and views of the harbour area and park fantastic. We struggled to find good dining in Downtown Vancouver and our trip to the harbour...area was a real highlight due to this restaurant. Would definitely return in the future!More

Best Halibut Fish & Chips. Great Service. Beautiful views. We were there on a very warm summer day & it was quite sunny upstairs and table didn’t have umbrella but the breeze saved us. Nice atmosphere, friendly people, dog friendly, and harbor view.

We enjoyed a couple of happy hours here recently. Excellent, friendly service and great food. The halibut and chips and chicken thighs were great. Can’t beat the fabulous location on the waterfront, We sat inside, however there is also a large outdoor patio.

Had stumbled upon this gem in the fall of 2020, enjoyed a unique and fun meal during happy hour. Although the oysters upset my tummy, I would go again. So we did, for an evening meal, this time salmon for me and steak for my...friend. With one beer, one Irish coffee and one dessert it was well over $150. A bit pricey, but not uncommon on the Vancouver waterfront. Plan to take your time, visit, enjoy the ambiance. Attentive staff, but my friend had to send his steak back for more grill time. Maybe will give it a miss next time we’re in town.More

Great setting right on the water. The view and waterside dining experience was hard to beat. Food was good but not exceptional considering the price point. In fact there were a few thing inconsistent with the price (ie, the menu was inserted into plastic sheets...clearly labeled “Staples”). Anyway we had a lovely dinner watching the boats in the marina on a rainy November night.More
