Great place for a quick lunch, quick service and the food was excellent. Would recommend if you need a good meal at a fair price.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall sushi restaurant. If you're looking for decent sushi for a good price with a good location, this is it. Nothing special but still tasty. Probably wouldn't go again as I know of a few other's which this one doesn't live up to, but if you're hungry and in the area - it's not bad.

I have been here many times and never disappointed. Food is fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. Busy at noon but very quick during rest of the day.

We asked the Four Seasons to recommend great such with no frills. As usual, they did a great job. This place has fabulous sushi and NO frills at all. Every single piece of sushi is fresh, fresh, fresh. I'm in town for a month and I've been there for lunch so many times that the order taker asked me if... More

If you are looking for a place for a quick Japanese meal, this is it! Food is pretty decent. The menu is on the wall. Good selection of sushi, Donburi, & udon. I had the salmon Donburi which was a nice change from sushi. Less than $10. My friends wanted gluten free and found something they could eat and as... More

I have been here a few times and never a disappointment. I think the owner is Korean, so they have a good variety of Korean dishes too plus a good selection of bento, soup noodles and sushi & sashimi.

The food is excellent however if you are looking for atmosphere try a higher end place. They offer eat in or take out. Check your order before you leave to make sure it is yours. We have had a few mix ups but we were not disappointed

If you're visiting from the US and aren't sure where to start trying the Vancouver sushi experience, Bay Sushi would be a good choice. It's a busy (and fairly small) location, with a brisk take out business that results in a bit of chaos. You order at the desk and bus your own table, but prices are extremely reasonable. My... More

There is a reason that during lunch time this restaurant is always packed. I have been popping into this establishment for years to enjoy quick, consistent tasting sushi, at a fair price in the heart of downtown. You order at the front, and they will call your number when the food is ready for pick up. Do not expect a... More

A group of us went here for dinner before the Whitecaps game. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Don, and shared some assorted tempura with my wife. The rice bowl was OK, but there were virtually no vegetables in the bowl, mainly chicken and rice. My wife found the chicken a bit fatty. The tempura was very good. It's a pretty... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries.
