Our last night in Canada had to be good. We search through all the usual restaurant reviews and thought Granville island would be great, but we settled upon this restaurant due to its reviews and marina location. We were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted...upon arrival and were found a comfy sofa table just outside of the restaurant in the terrace. The waitress was superb, very helpful and positive towards helping with our food choices. We had goats cheese, calamari to start between us.. Then we each chose pasta or tenderloin or fish for main. Every dish was brilliant. A perfect setting and lovely team at the restaurant.More

Booked for brunch and sat outside on the patio. We had the salmon eggs Benedict, eggs and bacon, and the chorizo scramble. All delicious - poached eggs were perfect and breakfast potatoes crispy and tasty. Fast and efficient service. Coffee good. Nice location.

Recommended by our hotel (OPUS) Provence Marinaside is a short walk with a great view of the marina and an even better wine list and menu. I had a great glass of BC Viognier (Lightening Rock) to go with my seared sea bass on quinoa...and greens, while my husband had the grilled prawns (large and juicy). We were seated outside and greatly enjoyed the wonderful food. Although I don’t drink much any more, it was great fun to read the wine list and the after-dinner list of cordials. 1918 Armagnac anyone? I settled for an excellent camomile-citrus tea and my husband had a great crème Carmel. We enjoyed seeing a couple of families and some pampered pets. Highly recommended!More

While a little on the pricey side, the food is well prepared and presently nicely. The fish dishes we ordered were slightly overcooked thus a bit dry, but we didn't complain as they were still good. Glad we tried it.

We shared a bottle of Normandy cider to wash down our food which was pretty good. Plenty of choice for light snacks or full meals. We sat on the terrace which was fortunately shady when it was almost 30c. Friendly service too.

Bean away almost two months for business and holidays , had a great Brunch at the Provence Marinaside French restaurant with my two business partner yesterday , located on down town David and Pacific Blvd , very upscale large spacious restaurants , very cozy and...comfortable atmosphere , love the patio , it is first come first server , little early , we arrived just few minters after they open , lot of open seating for front patio , brunch menu very creative and lot to choose from not pricy at all , my spaghetti " to the tooth " very flavourful , my both partner order the Benedict , they both looks very delicious , with lovely hollandaise sauce not runny at all , good portion size , service very oriented , our coffee cup never empty , I know for sure there is so many Brunch in midland from 2 stars to five stars Provence Marinaside is well above them all , I truly can say it is the top Ten Brunch restaurants in Vancouver , in atmosphere , quality , services , try it out .More

I wanted to visit the restaurant again after many years for a long time. I finally did on a sunny day and was greeted with a warm welcome by the hostess (mgr), a familiar face from years ago. Decided to sit inside as to be...closer to Jean-Francis Quaglia, the owner, executive chef, of the past 20 years. We worked together almost 30 years ago at Le Coq d’Or where I was one of the servers. We ordered mimosas, benny crab cakes and spaghetti with prawns and scallops. It didn’t disappointment and I really enjoyed my meal. J-F came to say hello and actually sat with us afterwards to chat and catch up on many years of not seeing each other. Pauline was our friendly and very professional server and happy to take photos and a lovely selfie! Will return on my next visit and my guest will return in the meantime.More

Perfectly located on the downtown side of False Creek, Provence Marinaside has a super selection of foods from lamb to lobster. The ambiance is great, though it can get a little loud when full.

We arrived at 1 p.m. on a sunny Valentine weekend, and much to our surprise and delight got a table for two right away. Food delicious and reasonably priced. I had waffles, bacon on the side, and potatoes on the side. Best bacon I've ever...had. Shout out to our server, Julia who made us feel relaxed. A couple of the staff were wearing floral dresses, which I thought added to the nice ambience of the venue. Great place to eat and people watch (pedestrians, dogs, cyclists). Go for a walk afterwards across the street at the waterfront pathways. Very pretty!More

They have always had a daily feature at "tappy hour" with a shortlist of discounted drinks, but I am not sure what the current reality is as they reopen after COVID.
