I've enjoyed my visits to the Boathouse, typically middle of the week, but the most recent visit was on a Sunday, and our experience was well up to expectations. Parking is always an issue in downtown venues, but the valet system they have in place...More

My circle of friends get together for each others birthday! The place is very nice, overlooking English Bay. The waitresses are nice too. The food choices were okey, it's just a little bit salty for us... it's affordable too.

We went there specifically for fish and chips and weren't disappointed. It was excellent. We were seated upstairs at a window table overlooking the water. Lovely view - too bad it was pouring rain. The restaurant was pretty empty and we were given lots of...More

Not much value here at all. Food had no taste. No seasoning at all on the seafood skewer, the crusted halibut had hardly any crust, and the rice tasted like it came out of an instant package. The portions are small too. Save you money...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

There is none. Street and regular parking around. However, they have valet which is extremely reasonable especially considering how much you would pay for regular parking.

Sorry, I don't recall if they had gluten free but as others have said, you should be able to find their menu on line.
