We stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. The service was great and the entertainment was hilarious. The fun part is when you engage with the staff, anything goes.

Food is fine. Coffee is ok. The main event here is Piotr. He works hard, girl! So be prepared to show him some love. Don’t try to fight back on any of his barbs... he’d have plenty left and some. Not sure I’d be ok...More

We went here for brekky after reading recent reviews. Close to where we stayed in Drake St. Piotr certainly lived up to expectations, we laughed non stop. Food was great as well. Might not suit everyone but Aussies for sure

While vacationing in Vancouver with my husband for our honeymoon we went here for breakfast. Service was amazing, food was unreal (literally my stomach hurt from overeating) and loved the atmosphere. Servers tell it like it is and their humour is very entertaining. Loved every...More

The Elbow Room coffee shop is a fun place to go. The serves harasses the costumer in good spirits. The menu reflects the characters of the old fashion classic Diner meals with hummer. Its a place to bring a "BIG" appetite friend too, due to...More

We first visited this place over 3 years ago upon it being recommended to us by a friend. When we were in back in Vancouver we couldn't resist coming back. We were greeted and served by the same server as of 3 years back! He...More

We had a really fun time at the elbow room this morning. Expect a lot of laughs and jokes if you go there. Don't go if you want a quiet breakfast without human contact. However, if you like to laugh and don't take life too...More

Bring your sense of humour and a big appetite! You will be greeted warmly and irreverently by your server. The menu is extensive and be sure to read the ‘rules’ on the front page lol. My husband had a full breakfast and I had the...More

I hope this doesn’t damage their rep however they were nice and friendly! The dear lady wife loves all things rainbow so this was the draw, we snuck in past the queue of hopeful four tablers (unlucky) . Madam had the smallest pancake option and...More

Must have been because it was Sunday but I was treated with perfect civility and only heard a bit of tame banter with one table otherwise it was a ‘normal’ cafe that served good breakfast/brunch food with interesting names. I had traditional eggs Benedict with...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

I think they are still running ,we went there in November, they do a very good business and perhaps they went on vacation. They are not open for dinner. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.
