Every time we are in Vancouver we go to Lupo for dinner. Probably 20 times over the years. It's always a delight good wine list and waiters are knowledgeable of their wines. The food is always fantastic and the specials they have are great. My...wife ordered the fettuccine with truffles (she has had this the last 10 times). I ordered the wagu cheeks, they tasted similar to short ribs very soft cut with your fork. Delicious sauce and nice assortment of perfectly cooked vegetables. We will definitely be back next time.More

Excellent greeting staff, warm friendly and efficient. Venue, warm friendly, exquisite. Waitress was exceptional and pleasant. All dishes served, exceeded expectations. A charming treat, in a world where consumers are so often treated like dirt (Hilton).

A small, cute Italian restaurant with good service. The menu, however, is limited to only a few items and specifically there are no veal dishes offered. My usual experience with Italian restaurants is a very varied menus and veal dishes are featured. The food we...ordered was nice but not outstanding. The wine list is nice and reasonably priced.More

We walked in off the street after a long flight and day. We were lucky and found a table. The service was excellent; helpful and attentive without being obtrusive. The food was fanstatic. For mains we had steak and veal . The wine selection was...extensive. We're going back tonight to try some of the other dishes.More

This was the first time back to Lupo in over 6 years, and we were not disappointed. Service from Jeff was very attentive, in fact when a very large and rowdy group were seated next to us, he took the liberty of moving us to...a quieter table for coffee, dessert and a night cap. Cocktails and wine by the glass (nice selection) were enjoyed by all in our party. The Burrata appetizer, the veal chop and the rack of lamb were the hits of the evening. The halibut, which was the special fish offering of the day, and the pasta special were the least enjoyed. Gluten free options are available. A pricey evening, but worth it!More

If you're not on a budget, this place is great! And it's not really a place you ask what the prices are (for specials not on the menu). We were greeted by someone that looked like the owner/manager and he sat us at a table...at the back of the restaurant. The table was nice enough but behind a pillar and next to a table of 12. If you are going to Lupo and not in a group of 12, I suggest you ask to be seated somewhere near the front. Our server Giovanna was awesome. She was attentive, good natured and very friendly, She mentioned some specials for appetizers and the main course. The seafood arrangement was wonderful but at $39 (only knew this after the bill arrived) it was lacking in volume with one prawn, one crab cake a couple of thumb-sized pieces of lobster and a few tentacles of octopus. Very expense for that, but also very tasty! We also ordered the foccaia bread and the meatballs and both were delicious. For the main courses we had a couple of pasta dishes and a special, the rack of lamb which again delicious, but $70 for 2 (albeit big) chops. We also ordered some drinks and wine. So the restaurant may not want people who are price sensitive, but as a suggestion to those that want to at least be aware of what they are spending, make sure to ask the prices of the "specials" so you won't be shocked.More

First visit to Lupo and was very impressed. Old house had a quiet and comfortable feel to it. Professional, friendly and attentive service throughout. The caprese salad starter was to die for, beautiful presentation and taste. The sablefish special was also a brilliant choice. I...would definitely recommend this location for a quiet business dinner. We will be back…More

This was our first time back to Vancouver from the U.S. after 3 years of Covid restrictions. We were happy that Lupo survived but worried that its quality might have suffered. We're happy to report that our worries were unfounded. We were thrilled to see...that Lupo is better than ever, and busy on a Thursday night. For starters, the beef carpaccio was perfect, and the octopus vinaigrette "mosaic" was a unique and delicious winner. For main courses, we had two of the evening specials: linguine with clams, and rack of venison. Both were cooked to perfection. Our respective by-the-glass wine selections of pinot grigio and pinot noir were both top-notch, and our shared tiramisu was light and tasty. The atmosphere remains casual but refined. The service is attentive and personable. It was easy to converse. In sum, Lupo remains one of our favorite dining experiences. We WILL be back!More

I felt like I was dining in Italy. The food was exquiste I ordered the burrata which was the most delcious burrata with local tomatoes I have ever tasted!! The carpaccio was outstanding. The wild mushroom pasta was also incredible as was the fettucine with...butter and black burgundy truffles. My only disappointment is I have to leave Vancouver to go home but this will always be number one on my list forever and I will return. I could dine there every night they are open. They also have an exceptional wine list. The owners and staff are simply marvelous, warm and helpful in a lovely, gorgeous home with stain glass windows and exceptional charm.More

No dress code but it would be advisable to wear relatively clean casual clothes or better. Customers dress in anything from casual to very dressy.
