This was our all time favorite restaurant in the west end of Vancouver- but between our last visit in July and this visit in October there has been a drastic change in the quality of the food.... and not for the better. I ordered my...More

Have been an occasional visitor for over 5 years and was always impressed by the attention to detail. This was our second visit since the new owner took over last February and it has lost most of its previous appeal. Food prep seems competent though...More

Adesso was disappointing to say the least. Firstly, the odd smell upon entering (like cat litter) was an immediate turn off, and the food was mediocre (salmon ravioli was very salty). The only plus was the service, which was attentive and friendly. Would I revisit?...More

The Adesso is located on a quiet residential street with no other commercial establishments. Do not let this deter you. The food was terrific as was the service and reasonably priced. Very laid back, excellent food, highly recommend!

We were lucky to get a nice table at the outdoor courtyard as the place was quite busy. The food was very good but a little expensive. The service very friendly but slow, probablly they were short on staff. Worth to try again.

Went for a stroll and happened on Adesso Restaurant. Nestled on a quiet, tree lined street, the patio calls to you. This place reminds me of New York, a bistro among old apartments. Interesting drink specials, and a appealing menu. We shared dishes Meat and...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

Yes. The servers (we've always had Gavin) are very attentive to little ones, and we always ordered a small custom pasta with broccolini, parmesan and butter - children are welcome.
