The food was good but not as good as other Italian restaurants like the Poor Italian, Marcello's or even Anton's. The decor is old, smelled old and less than desirable which was why maybe only five tables were filled. As for the food it was...okay. But again not the same as a Trattoria or Cottos. The Minestrone soup was hot and tasty but probably needed more vegetables. The main course were Lasagna and Fettuccine Bolognese. Both were hearty, cheesy and meaty. It tasted very good but not as good as other restaurants. The star was the dessert, the house made tiramisu. It was fantastic, moist and tasty. As for the service, it was a bit slow but respectable. Overall a solid C+.More

Located in our East Van Hood and a Dineout for only $25, we had to try this restaurant for the very first time. Specializing in Italian comfort food we had to try it. Formerly, the Rikki Room years ago, Nonna's Table had pretty much the...same decor and aged style as it was 20 years ago. So because of this it brought my rating down. However, the food was exceptionally good. The house made meatballs were quite tasty along with the Panzanella Salad. For the main course, we had Stuffed Chicken Breast and a medium rare 6oz Chicken Breast. We finalized it with Cheesecake and Tiramisu. All in all the food was quite good and flavourful. The service was also very friendly but a little slow because they only had one server for a very busy Dineout restaurant. So a 3 star rating is about right.More

Old fashioned, dowdy and eclectic décor. We visited on a cold rainy day just after Christmas. The wood burning oven drew us in. Friendly reception. Not at all busy. Nice staff who kindly turned the music down for us....we were seated right under the speakers....A few lunch specials, everything reasonably priced. We shared a pizza because of the wood burning oven. Considering we were practically the only customers and also pizzas in that type of oven cook in a matter of minutes, we waited a long time for our order. The pizza was just so so. A disappointment for sure and not enough of an enticement to have us return. Too bad.More

Went for a birthday party. One waitress for 30 people. Horrible service. People didn’t get what they ordered if anything at all. Then the waitress told the guests that the kitchen was closed at 8:30 and could Oder anymore. Drinks took a long time to...order. Waitress got all the bills wrong . Took forever to pay and get out of there. Never again!!!More

Went her for Dinner once and for a quick Pizza lunch another time. Always surprised no one is there ( not sure when their busy time is as they service breakfast as well.) Pizzas were had both visits and one pasta dish. Pizzas we great..., Just the way we like them thin crusted and flavourful, pasta dish as well. Just the right sized serving not too much that you can enjoy. Hotel has lots of history in this developing area. ( yes the area is getting better ) and we will continue to patronize this gem to be sure they continue their long history in Vancouver.More

I don't know what they do there but the pizza is excellent! Prices are very reasonable too and the room is lovely. Go try it you won't regret it!

What an awful restaurant. While sitting at our table looking over the menu we saw two Rats (mice) running along the floor and heading towards the open kitchen. We called our waiter over who informed us that rodents were all over the place and that...they had trouble controlling them! The health inspector needs to pay these guys a visit! Don’t Eat Here!More

When staying somewhere for only about 8 hours we don't like to overspend when possible. The Waldorf was inexpensive and served up some great customer service for the price. Room was a little dated, but clean and what we expected. We had no issues like...other reviewers and other than a little noisy we enjoyed our stay and agreed if we needed to stay in the area again we would go back.More

Stayed 2 nights. Small rooms. Coffee, shower stall only. View was of roof lol. But the upsides are that if you like some vintage deco you will enjoy it. Unfortunately the heat is rads that cannot be turned down, in the morning i thought i...might pass out. The satff are incredibly kind and nice. The hood is sketchy but there is a grocery store and Starbucks across the road. The Tiki Bar downstairs is the reason i stayed to enjoy reggae night. I met some awesome people at this hotel and would totally stay again. The price can't be beat. Close walk to Commercial to get your shop on.More

We popped in for a late lunch on Saturday. Cappucino’s were excellent & we really loved the pizza. We found the quality of the food excellent and the prices very reasonable. We will definitely be back!!!
