Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Go with shared dishes, which are plentiful. Crispy stuffed avocado with greens and beets looked and tasted delicious. Fried chicken done perfectly. Galbi meatball for a more Italian taste. Salmon and tuna tartare - thumbs up!

We went with out of town friends to this local downtown Chinatown restaurant. We ordered veggie dim sum to share. Small portion, only four pieces. But good. We shared yu choy, a Chinese green which was fresh and good. My wife ordered the Sai Woo Chicken and she thought it was ok. I had the whole Bronzino with veggie garnish. The fish was quite good and tasty. Service was good, attentive and helpful. Our friends had different dishes and enjoyed the food.

Really enjoyed this place and the food. Lovely dishes (Chinese fusion). Slightly different and very tasty. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was hurt at first but really picked up. Totally worth a visit. Good luck to the restaurant.

Sai Woo has a fun atmosphere and good cocktails, but the food is mediocre at best, and overpriced. We went for Valentines dinner and were very disappointed by the food and service. The fried rice was bland, and I would have expected more for the cost of $75/person for food (plus $16 for each cocktail)

Wow, I just loved this place! Every dish was outstanding, the service was super friendly and the portions were quite generous. My wife and I ordered three "small: plates and one entree and that would have easily fed 4 hungry people. For dinner, we had the Nuuds (udon noodles with Chinese croutons and sesame oil sesame oil), Szechuan beans with shallots, ginger and garlic, San Woo fried chicken with lemongrass aioli and a soy garlic broth - probably the most delicious fried chicken I have ever tasted! and finished with Tianjin fried rice (with lobster and king crab). We could only get through half of the food, so bring friends!

Worst service, terrible food, and a wobbly table on top of that. We were not checked in for 15 mins. And then I had to flag a different waiter to get our requested sauces. We were also not checked in during our meal. We again had to flag to get our check which the server saw and didn't even come to get our check. That's just the service. The Hanoi chicken wings were good, but didn't hate sauce. Our food were flavorless - I ordered the duck soy noodle, my partner ordered the Dan Dan noodle. Our broths were cold. I would rather go to an authentic Asian restaurant than a PanAsian restaurant that cares more about the decor than the food.

I specifically asked for no cilantro but the dish came with cilantro. My husband ordered a highly recommended dish - octopus which was under cooked and served with tofu which the waiter claimed was squid..... Pretty environment - too bad the food is so bad.....

Great atmosphere and decor. This is the oldest restaurant in Chinatown with the original fir floors and brick work. Loved the portraits painted on the bricks Service was attentive and not intrusive The food was amazing- veggies were tender crisp, meat was tender and not overcooked and spicing was perfect. The desserts were delicious and innovative. We highly recommend this place

China town may be looking a bit sad these days but this restaurant was excellent. We had a variety of dishes and shared between 4. All were good especially, surprisingly, the peri peri Brussels sprouts!
