Great community minded spot. The night we were there, Sunday, was 'kid's night' when kids can make their own pizzas. Excellent thin crust, in my case, a gluten free one, was one of the best gf crusts I've had. Not at all cardboardy!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your Sunday night at Rocky with us and other people looking for restaurants with great kid and gluten free options. I love our gluten free crust too - I often choose a gluten free crust and I love my bread! We look forward to serving you and your family again very soon.... More

I stopped by for lunch and had the farmer's market flatbread. It was delicious--not too salty as are many restaurant foods, and the cherry tomatoes and asparagus were so fresh-tasting. I had the lovely roasted apricot/cinnamon sorbet for dessert, delicious and not very sweet. A wonderful meal!

Went there today around midday. There were 9 of us spread over 3 generations. The atmosphere was friendly. There were at least 2 other family events happening. The kids were welcome and enjoyed the indoor play area. Pizzas are great. Service by Shonda was superb. I'm sure in the evening it takes on a more adult environment and the quality... More

I recently took my Grade 2 class here to learn about the importance of local food and to make a pizza. The knowledgeable staff was friendly and made the entire field trip easy to manage. The pizza was delicious and the entire establishment is nut free. I paired this visit with a visit to the Honey Shoppe across the street... More

We all have our favourites but mine is the Parma, or is the Farmers Mkt...like a slice of the Naturally Meaty too. Good job we all pick something different so I can do a... More

Great place for families, food and friendly service. All of the meals are great and the play area for small children is excellent. Keep an eye out for their specials and the great selection of local beer!

The pizza and salad selection was adventurous ,fresh and flavourful. Even the dessert, a chocolate brownie with homemade ice cream was the best that I have had in a long time. The place is kid friendly which may be a problem for some but I would definitely return in the near future.

Hi Brian, thanks for visiting us and taking the time to write a review! Happy to hear you enjoyed the pizzas, salads, and chocolate brownie. Please do come back anytime! Also glad to hear you are cool with the kiddos, but just so you know, if you'd rather come when there are less of them, it's usually a bit quieter... More

I took a friend from out of town here, having enjoyed the pizza and pasta at Rocky Mountain Flatbread before. I had the Genoa (my standard favourite) and my friend had the Farmer's Market pizza. Her five year old son loved the play area, 'cooking' food for us to eat and serving us. They do Kids' Pizza Making on Sunday... More

This was the second year coming back to Rocky Mountain Pizza in Kitsilano and both times the service was absolutely excellent! It's difficult to throw a party for toddlers because let's be real, it's really for the adults to enjoy each other's company! Rocky Mountain is the place to be. Very kid and family friendly. On top of having the... More

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
