They have different branches all around the World and I was lucky Trying The food here in Vancouver. If you want to sit in, you have to book a table for sure and due to COVID-19 limitations, they have just seats for 11 persons.
The food quality is so high, they have so many choices and different dishes even for Vegetarians.
The staff are so polite and the place is so clean, they serve your food immediately even in busy days. I usually order classic Ramen with extra pork slices and it is so delicious.

We were staying at a nearby hotel and noticed that every time we walked past Danni, there was a long lineup. One afternoon I noticed that there was no lineup and thought the restaurant was closed, but there was a free table. I had the tonkotsu chasu ramen. Orders can be customized in terms of how firm or thick you want your noodles. The broth can also be made to your liking. Extra toppings are also available. I had the soft boiled and extra chasu. The ramen was excellent and I can't wait to return.

Had the pork belly ramen with a Sapporo beer and it was excellent, there are many choices in noodle thickness and softness and there is a fantastic hot sauce available on the tables. I loved the staff yelling at each other, they were quick and friendly. The line up to get in is the only negative thing about Danbo, highly recommend you check it out for yourself.

Well worth the wait in the queue. Really good Japanese ramen. Great to have various options to tailor the ramen to your tastes. Wife also tried the vegetarian version and reckoned it was better than the normal Tonkotsu version! Prices very reasonable for Vancouver and took advantage of the ability to order extra noodles if the standard portion ramen is not enough for a reasonable 1CAD for half or just 2CAD for a full. So popular that at 9.30pm in the evening there was still a short queue and wait to get in! Can see why it is so popular. Would happily return if we visit Vancouver again.

My first time go with my family. We line up more than 30 minutes at outside of the store. Finally we get in there, I thought that this is valuable cause its very tasty. You have to try. I think the portion not that big but you can add ramen just around $2.00.

I once had a bowl of tonkotsu ramen in Houston that was delicious, until I went here. I actually got a vegan tonkotsu and it tasted almost identical to real pork. They replace pork with tofu, but the broth is so good. I could not believe how delicious this was. The place reminded me of Ichiran, a huge brand in Japan, so if you've been there, this is just as good. The price is so reasonable, I got ramen with gyoza, all vegan and I paid less than $20 for the lunch combo.

Been here many times, the ramen = soup, noodle, chasu, even the toppings, all have been consistently tasty, be it the classic, shio or miso. The only ramen place my wife and I would go whenever we are in the West End area. Today I wanna thank again the staff who upon seeing that I accidentally dropped my face mask off to the floor, rushed to get a new one for me. We were about to leave, she could just pretend not to see!
There’s rarely a short queue, but that bowl of amazing ramen is worth waiting for…

Having eaten at this chain in Japan, over several days we watched the constant customer line for this establishment. Locals know best and one day when we spotted no line we decided to experience the popular trend for ourselves. Busy & crowded with seemingly little concern for COVID measures.
Fast and friendly service provides you with your customized order of ramen. Choose the noodle firmness, spice level, broth thickness, and additional options; egg, nori, kikurage, pickled veggies and extra chashu. Most ramen shops also allow you to customize your order but here they focus on their choices.
We enjoyed the tonkatsu classic which is a tasty rich complex pork broth, fresh noodles & pork, egg and nori. We also had their goyza which was not notable. An excellent option for the cool rainy days in Vancouver. We will join the throngs recommending this restaurant.

Cheap and delicious ! Tons of options for broth flavours and you can choose thick or thin noodles cooked to your liking . Additional noodles are inexpensive . Small place , attentive staff . Definitely worth the wait !

Options of tonkotsu (amazing!), shoyu, shio and miso broth, noodles are customizable, can get extra noodles for a low cost. Pork belly is to die for. I like to add the egg. Gyoza was the only thing that was only ok, but I didn't care - next time I'll just eat more ramen!

My daughter is vegan and loves ramen so we were recommended this place because they have a vegan section on their menu. It's very casual and we had to wait in line for a while but it was definitely worth it. You can customise your ramen exactly the way you want it and everything we tried was delicious and very inexpensive.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Vancouver was the ramen at this restaurant. The chashu pork is so tasty I could eat it on its own. The noodles, broth, the perfectly cooked egg, everything about the ramen is perfection.

Travelling as a family and prior to making our visit to Vancouver we did some research ( instagram) for places to try out. This place came up on one of the places to try out and with the constant line ups and how the place is good and worth the wait.
With that being said we waited outside at 7:30 ,got in at 8:30 and left by 9.At some point while you’re in line a server will come by and ask if you want pork broth or vegetarian broth and hands you a piece of paper which is essentially the menu where you write your order in.
When you get in a server comes by takes the menu/ your order and within minutes of siting down you get your food. We got two classic ramen with everything standard. We added egg and mushroom to our ramen which both is extra cost. We also got an order of gyoza. Everything was good. By the time you are done your food and they take away your bowl another server will swing right by with your bill and a machine in hand.
Now do I think it’s worth the 1hr wait-no. Maybe 30 mins max but an hour is a little wild if you ask me. If this place is a place you want to try out I suggest going mid day maybe not during lunch or dinner so you won’t have to wait so long. I know everyone eats at a different pace but you’d think with how fast they pump the food out and how fast they hand you the bill and pretty much kicking you out the wait time would be a little shorter.

Full disclosure - I wouldn't consider myself a ramen expert by any means. I was told to try this place out, so this is my opinion as someone who has moderate noodle experience..
Thankfully we didn't have to wait in line, as the restaurant is small and I have seen it lined up before. Covid spacing doesn't help, but it's great they follow protocols so carefully.
I found their menu on the simple side, which isn't a bad thing. It was clearly laid out, and they answered our couple of questions honestly. Our food was delicious, though I agree that if you're hungry that you order extra noodles. We all tried something different, all with good reviews.
Would I wait an hour in the cold for this? Probably not. But it was extremely tasty, and worth trying. Perhaps I need to have bad ramen to truly appreciate this place as others do.

The previous night I had ramen at Horin-Tonkatsu, across from the Blue Horizon hotel. So tonight I thought I would compare Danbo....well there was no comparison. Danbo's broth barely had any pork flavour and was way too salty. Their noodles were not great either, but the eggs were very good. Overall, I would say Horin had fantastic broth, tastier pork slices and also came with bean sprout. Horin's noodles were slightly better than Danbo. I have to find a place that makes homemade noodle; these were more like the instant kind out of a package.
