I’ve stopped here for lunch with a friend who works nearby and also with my mom for coffee & a snack. The owner is so lovely and always bends over backwards to accommodate any special dietary needs or requests. This is a great spot for snacks, lunch or pizza (Bicycle Pizza is part of the place as well). And they have a lovely little selection of tasty pantry items and freezer meals to go. A really nice addition to Brentwood Bay!

The food was so good and the atmosphere fun, but the service was a bit disorganized. I’d absolutely go back though- I’m confident they’ll get the kinks worked out :)

I went here for lunch with a local colleague and thoroughly enjoyed the food. I had the Beauregard Big Bowl, Yucatan style, with pulled chicken. It was great! Light, healthy, and locally sourced. I'll definitely be back to check out the provisions a little more :).

This cafe includes a take-out only (at the moment) pizza place called Bicycle Pizza. This evening I ordered a pie. To start with, no-where on the website does it tell you the size. (There's only one.) Under FAQ the site says, "Should feed two average people with average appetites." Dumb. Two average teens wouldn't think it nearly enough: my wife was happy with her half, but I could have had a bit more, and I'm 77, with an appetite to match. In fact, the pie was 25 cm, which in Canada is a 'small'. I ordered a 'Secret Sausage'. The crust was classic thin, and pretty good. The bottom was a bit chewy, while the surround was crispy. The topping was tasty, with an interesting combination of cheese and basil, with various spices. But there wasn't much cheese, and the secret to the sausage was how little there was. The toppings were quite skimpy. And while I ordered at 5:45 and specified pick-up at 6:30, I had to wait almost ten minutes, and I was the only customer. Why specify 15 minutes intervals and then make people wait ten minutes? I'll try again, and report, but at the moment I'm disappointed.

Had the Aloha bowl with chicken. Menu online says the base is rice & beans, I saw not one bean in it. The chicken was wet with soggy bits of skin and grissol, removed most of it to enjoy an otherwise fresh salad with a smattering of rice in it. Dressing provided was oily and boring. At $16, seems a little steep for the content.

My absolute favourite lunch place in Brentwood Bay. I order the Beauregard bowl at least twice a week. Service is great. Food delish. Yummy healthy options to select from. I totally recommend it 👍🏼.

Don't let the casual look of this eatery fool you. There is some serious cooking going on here!
Fresh ingredients, locally sourced and creatively utilized. We stopped in for lunch and had the turkey and bacon sandwich with potato and cabbage soup, as well as the Yucatan bowl. Capped off the delicious lunch with an over-the-top yummy stilton cheesecake. Velvety with just a hint of rich stilton and baked on a shortbread crust. Does it get any better? Sure does!
Friendly staff, local goods, and freezers full of take-home delights make this charming restaurant an instant favourite. Will be back soon.

We are always searching for a healthier choice and this was it! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! Our group of nine were all pleased. We would certainly come back again!

Stopped here for lunch after Butchart Gardens, looking for a light, nutritious meal and it was the perfect choice. The bowls are tasty and filling. Had a great chat with the owner who generously treated us to dessert: chocolate pot au creme and Grand Marnier creme brulee. Both of them were absolutely delicious!!

I love this new restaurant in Brentwood Bay! They have awesome, healthy food and they have many options for people that have allergies, gluten and dairy sensitivity and even vegan. The food is delicious, good size portions and very fair prices. They source most all of their ingredients local, a lot of it is organic. I had the best gluten free brownie that I ever had and also had a Thai curry rice noodle dish which was their daily special which was so tasty! My most recent meal was the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and it was so good!! Aside from breakfast/brunch and lunch that you can either eat in or take to go, they also have take out dishes to warm up at home/work when you don’t feel
like cooking, and fresh local breads, pastries, and other local items for sale. They also have kombucha on tap, and great specialty coffees. What makes this place even better is their friendly customer service. I would definitely recommend!!!!

Wow are we lucky that this new restaurant/ bakery/deli, decided to open in Brentwood Bay. We had a tasty, good quality breakfast one morning and then on another day a delicious lunch. Each were around $12,--- good value! Good assortment of high quality baked goods. Also there are a few prepared meal options that are ready to take home and warm up. To top it off the owners, chef & staff are very friendly. Don't miss this one!!

I came there to eat breakfast and had a fantastic meal! Local, fresh food, lots of healthy options for a gluten free person like myself. I brought a 4 year old in and was treated so well by everyone there. Staff was very accomodating and I highly recommend.
