The staff here are just horrible and arrogant. I will not go here anymore. The food is good, but there is no excuse for the attitude of the staff and management. I have gone twice and I will not return. The manager is rude, unkind...and lacks a service and hospitality ethic. Just not worth it.More
We had breakfast here recently. We were lucky to get in before the morning rush! The food was very good and the service was top notch. There is a good selection to feast on from the menu. It is a small place so get there...early!More
The Jam Cafe breakfast breakfast experience in Victoria is worth it! So tasty and vibrant, you can tell the difference that freshness makes from the first bite. Admittedly, this does come at a price, but as a treat, it is worth it!! My Charley Bowl...was awesome, the salsa verde hot sauce was so good, we bought a take home bottle! My daughters pancakes and eggs Benny were all top notch!! The chocolate milk, coffee and hot chocolate were all excellent. The retro feel to the place with it being spiffy and seemingly Covid-conscious, makes the Jam Cafe an excellent treat to enjoy for breakfast while in Victoria!!More
such a delicious brunch spot!! arrived at the location around 9:15 and got seated just before 10:00, but it is so worth the wait! the place is small and the tables are close together. the food was delicious! great selection of food as well as...beverages. service was friendly, the food came out really fast. definitely will be back and definitely recommend.More
What a delicious breakfast. Our server recommended the Chicken French Toast. My hubby would have never picked it himself. He loved it. It was a huge portion and he just couldn’t finish it. I had the Cold Smoked Eggs Benny. Perfect size for me and...I enjoyed every bite. We also had a few breakfast beverages. Hubby had the Cesar and I had the Strawberry Field Mimosa.More
We went to the Jam Cafe for breakfast on a Monday morning at 10 am in late September. We got lucky with no line but think we were the last to get a table. It is a small restaurant and was packed with every table...full. You do sit quite close to other people but it was fine. The interior decor is eclectic with fun vintage items to look at.
Service was great and we quickly ordered the Classic Jam Bacon Caesar. The sugar cured bacon was fantastic. So much so that my husband ordered the Blackstone Benny for more bacon while I got the Pork Belly Benny. Both tasted great. Several other items coming out of the kitchen also looked delicious. Wonderful food and atmosphere. Would not hesitate to eat at Jam Cafe again. We are still talking about the sugar cured bacon!More
When we arrived at 830 on a Saturday, there was a big line but it moved really quickly. We split a salmon Benny and a special peach french toast and both were amazing. Space is cozy with lots of interesting stuff on the walls. Plan...to visit again to try more stuff.More
The special of the day « peaches french toasts « were abundant and very delicious not too sweetened. A good choice of egg benedict is offered and the one that I tasted was very good. The service was excellent but the music was too loud.

Victoria is very progressive and its restaurants are most willing to address their patrons needs. Call ahead if you wish, I found my server to be well informed and I'm sure would check with the chef about your needs. Alternatively, Sante Cafe on 2630 Quadra St, Victoria has developed a reputation for all things UN-gluten. Good luck from one dad to another.
