Quick stroll from the cruise terminal. Ordered fried oysters, steamed mussels, seafood stew, fish and chips, and some local beer. All were fresh and delicious! Casual setting by the marina near sunset was perfect!

We chose to have a Dungeness crab, having had one a couple of nights ago at another restaurant we had high expectations. Unfortunately this was a case of chalk and cheese. Despite a similar price the crabs were poles apart and we came feeling ripped...off!More

Good choice of freshly cooked fish dishes. We had the tacos which were very tasty. There is only a small eating area at the restaurant but a very large public eating area opposite which was fantastic for eating and people watching.

This is a typical open-air fish n' chips stand on Victoria's very popular Fisherman's Wharf. The service was rather slow, but I think this was a reflection of the heavy business on this hot summer day. Food was good, but not special. Prices are fair....Staff was friendly. Ambiance is carnival-like festive and the view from the tables is delightful. One quirk worth noting: the sockeye salmon is actually less expensive than cod! That's unheard of most places.More

I am a huge chowder fan & the 3 way salmon chowder was possibly the best chowder I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately two visits and two strikes out. One day bought beer ( ie one beer) and had it taken away because apparently we were sitting in an unlicensed place but no signs to indicate that. Another day we sought seating for four and we’re told...by staff we could put two tables together. The manager subsequently told us in a highly offensive way that that was not allowed. Customer relations leaves a lot to be desired. Food is just okay.More

Beautiful restaurant that combines sea food with a lot of global/international dishes (hummus, dimsum, tuna mahi,...). Nice setting and good service.

Some of the best fish and chips ever. The salmon chowder was very good too. Great selection of local beers. Housemade tartar sauce is outstanding. In two visits during our stay in Victoria this place was consistently good.

The Fish Store is a very funny and interesting small floating restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf in Victoria City. Nice place to have a good experience with your family. My small kids loved this place. The mussels are worth trying them.

The absolute worst food . Spent $23.00 on fried oysters and they didn't include tarter sauce but wanted to charge extra. The coleslaw tasted like vinegar. They need to use fresh oil once in s while, tasted old. Don't waste your money we were extremely...disappointed!!!More

Very tasty fish and chips, both the cod and salmon. Great tartar sauce, but coleslaw was a bit bland. I’d definitely recommend, it’s tastier than Barb’s, though pricier.

We stopped in November long weekend on Saturday and they were one of the only locations open in the off season. Friendly and helpful staff helped us choose and we opted for the sturgeon tacos which came out in about 7 minutes and were very...fresh. Some covered seating with heat lamps keeps the cold at bay, and price points on the high side but it was expected. We enjoyed it and would return.More

We've visited Victoria a few times, and we always end up playing tourists at Fisherman's Wharf. The Fish Store offers a great selection of seafood, including clams and oysters, all freshly cooked. The Vancouver Island oysters are fabulous, served in the shell, and all the...typical fish and chip dishes pretty genuine in flavour, and the haddock is particularly good. Great outdoor atmosphere, with a fair amount of seating which turns around fairly quickly. We'll come back here for sure! It's quite hard to find good fish restaurants without paying crazy prices, so this place is a winner. Good chips / fries. Super easy to get to as it's a very short walk from the Parliament Buildings, and all the little yellow and black water taxi's come and go all the time. Can be busy but it's worth being patient to wait for a place to sit down and to enjoy the waterfront view.More

Quaint location in the Fisherman’s Wharf with a few places opened for lunch this time of year. Basically a small rustic dinning room or take out. The fish and chips with cod and another order with salmon were top notch. Superb. World class for freshness...of the fish, breading and cooked perfectly leaving the fish juicy. Never had tried the breaded salmon and cannot wait to try it again. Wish we tried the chowders but would have been too much. Very decent amount of food / ration. The cole slaw and fries were really good as well. Definitely want to return. We even got a discount on account of our Whale watching trip from there with Eagle Wing Tours.More

We walked from our hotel about 15 minutes to the wharf. By the time we got there we were cold. The 3 salmon chowder was great and warmed us up. The fried salmon and cod were excellent and we enjoyed our visit.

Yes, there are picnic tables. Some are covered with tent tops on poles (open sides), worth the trip if you bundle up - they're amazing!
