I ordered almond chicken and a vegetable fried rice for delivery. I'm sorry to say this was the worst food I have ever eaten - truly. The chicken had hardly any meat but was covered in batter and deep fried; it was so oily. The...fried rice had no taste with a few pieces of broccoli thrown in. I threw the food out.More

We ordered on line and our food arrived hot and delicious. Prices were reasonable and the portions large.

We've tried Lum's twice now. It is simple, unpretentious Chinese Canadian food that is reasonably price. We'd definitely recommend it as a local Chinese restaurant.

We're travelling and had some complications with our address, but the staff at Lum's went above and beyond to find us. The food was great - tasty and good portions. We would definitely order from Lum's again.

My best experience with Chinese food outside of Metro Vancouver (yeah, we're kind of snobbish about Asian food with so many great choices). But this place has given me another reason to visit Victoria. It's true that most of the food is somewhat westernized, but...it's still very flavourful without that sense of things tasting of the same sauces one can get. This small restaurant is in our neighbourhood and we go there when we feel like wonton soup and other Chinese dishes. The food is always good, service is also good and we always leave very satisfied.

My girlfriend and her son and I had dinner here on the 9th. The menu gave us a wide and varies selection of individual dishes to order as well as well as meals for 2, 3, 4 and larger. Service was quick and the food...was excellent. The portions were larger than we expected but prepared fresh and arrived very hot. The only downside was that the dishes we ordered came to us one at a time but it was not an inconvenience. Chop sticks were available for those who know how to use them and overall the meal was an outstanding value for what we paid.More
