Lum's recently returned to Dine-In and we were again able to enjoy our favorite Chinese food with friends. The prices have increased a little but the food is still worth it. Service always comes with a smile and we really feel valued.
I'm not sure that anyone out here actually knows food!! This restaurant sucks!! Terrible rice chop suey and chicken chow mein!! How you people stay in buisiness is beyond my comprehension!! You need to shut your doors and stop leaving your bad food all over...this city!! This restaurant is a sham!! Learn how to cook jerks!!More
We picked up food from Lums Xmas Eve while visiting family. Phoned in our large order and it was ready when we arrived. Very busy in the restaurant and lots of people waiting for take out. The food was great and more then enough for...our group. Excellent friendly staff.More
I ordered almond chicken and a vegetable fried rice for delivery. I'm sorry to say this was the worst food I have ever eaten - truly. The chicken had hardly any meat but was covered in batter and deep fried; it was so oily. The...fried rice had no taste with a few pieces of broccoli thrown in. I threw the food out.More
We're travelling and had some complications with our address, but the staff at Lum's went above and beyond to find us. The food was great - tasty and good portions. We would definitely order from Lum's again.
My best experience with Chinese food outside of Metro Vancouver (yeah, we're kind of snobbish about Asian food with so many great choices). But this place has given me another reason to visit Victoria. It's true that most of the food is somewhat westernized, but...it's still very flavourful without that sense of things tasting of the same sauces one can get. If you want to experiment further, ask for some items off the "secret" Chinese menu. We had salt fish rice, salt & pepper squid, and tofu & seafood hotpot. All were excellent and all the dishes were a good value. It's a tiny place, with just around eight tables, something to keep in mind if you're in a big group.More
