Stopped here for lunch whilst exploring Victoria. Excellent sandwiches made to order - and what a size they were too! We had ordered cake too (being used to British portions) and after our sandwiches attempted to eat my husband’s coconut cream pie between us (which...would have been about 3 servings in the UK by the way) but it defeated our combined efforts! So we took my cake away for another time! Decent tea if you like it British-style, by the way.More

Cold eggs Benny, watery latte. Scrambled eggs were tasteless. We had expected a great breakfast and had planned to take some fresh baked goods with us. However, perhaps 9am was not a good time,n though we were the only ones there..except for the homeless man...yelling through the door.More

I used to like this place but, after yesterday, I don't think I'll ever order from there again. For reference - the mask mandate was lifted in British Columbia yesterday. I decided to order dinner from this restaurant via Skip the Dishes. When my driver...dropped off the food, she told me of the terrible experience she had. She said that when she entered the restaurant, she was told she had to remover her mask. She refused and said they would have to find someone else to deliver the food if they didn't let her enter with a mask on - so they relented but were very rude and asked their customers to give her a bad review. When I opened my bag, I discovered they didn't even give me my entire order - they "forgot" my drink. I contacted Skip and asked for a refund. It's sad because this used to be such a great place, but I won't go there again.More

We looked into this place while shopping in Chinatown. It has a large assortment of pies and pastries. Our last night on Vancouver Island, we decided that we had to try a Nanaimo bar before leaving. This was the only place open after dinner, and...for that alone it deserves five stars.More

We stopped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Had the Eggs Benny and Classic breakfast. Large portions and food was hot. Display cases have lots of to go options that look tasty. The plastic knife and fork - very very flimsy - was our...only disappointment. Americano coffee and Assam tea were enjoyable. Friendly staff wearing masks and tables spaced for COVID.More

We spotted this place our first afternoon and went back for breakfast the next day, eggs benny were cooked well for me, my wife's were a little over cooked, taste was good, portions were large, everything was served with disposable plates and cutlery, little plastic...knife made cutting the toasted muffin difficult, good value for moneyMore

I would describe this as a student-style coffee shop. Unpretentious, inexpensive and nice selection (e.g., gluten-free, vegan, etc.) and friendly. Not stylish, but that makes it kind of endearing in a town like Victoria.

Very nice younger staff who were kind enough to call me a taxi. Coffee was good, and that was basically the only reason we stopped.

Stayed in downtown Victoria for three nights and ended up having breakfast here on all three mornings. We found the staff very friendly and the food and coffee were great with lots of choice.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we hit the QV Bakery and Cafe on our way back from dinner for a little dessert. The desserts in the case all looked really good, but we had a slice of the banana creme and the peanut butter creme...pies. Both fillings were really gelatinous and lacked flavor. The peanut butter pie in particular tasted more like raw cookie dough than peanut butter. Crusts were acceptable and the creme topping was pretty good, but the fillings were disappointing. If we were to go there again, I would just avoid the creme pies.More

Not your average cafe. There is a very wide range of food from savouries right through to cakes so should be something for most people. The cafe opens early in the morning and therefore good for an early breakfast. There is seating both inside and...outside. Order at the counter.More

With it opening at 6.30am all week called in for an early breakfast. Good selection for vegetarians and found the staff friendly, providing good service. Breakfast was excellent too. It's like an old American diner in layout and has a great selection of music on...the jukebox - as background music only. Would recommend and besides early opening its open until late at night too!More

Arrived in Victoria mid morning and shopped around a bit. Started to get hungry but couldn't decide what we wanted. Enter QV Cafe located near Chinatown. We had a great eggs bennie and omelette that hit the spot. We would have went back again but...we wanted to try out other places as we were only in Victoria for 2 nights. Super friendly staff - worth a visit.More
