Everything about Be Love is incredible--from the food (and seasonal menu) to the staff to the drinks and ambience. Even during Covid, they have maintained consistency with take away options.
Since I am both vegan and gluten-free, my restaurant options are minimal in Victoria. One of the best things about Be Love is the fact that I am never bloated from the food. Even if I eat a burger, salad, dessert, juice and soup, my system is good.
Highly recommend supporting this business.

Best restaurant experience in as long as I can remember. Visited for lunch with a colleague and had the Mac and cheese- 10/10. I am not vegan, and this was still some of the best I have ever had. Service was impeccable. Also had a delicious lemon kombucha drink which was so tasty, refreshing and perfectly sweet. Nice, simple decor. Can’t say enough good things!

OMG what a treat. Terrific vegan selections, enjoyed flavor combinations we're not familiar with and so enjoyed. Had the mushroom burger and the BBQ tempeh burger w/soup. Such treats and we saved room to split a Mexican spiced cocoa cup, total YUM. Had had an exhausting day and this was such a lift. Will definitely go back, we're visiting so our time is limited but MUST enjoy again before we leave. Job well done!

The emphasis on quality is top notch and our dinner was enjoyable, but a couple of events brought the rating down a notch. When our trio entered the restaurant, we noticed a table outside was available and the inside seating was half full. We asked to sit outside and the gentleman asked if we had reservations which we did not. He then indicated we could sit at a table in the back or on the stools mid restaurant. As we were there for just over an hour, the restaurant emptied a bit more and no one was seated outside during our stay and the other outside table emptied shortly after we were seated. We found that odd that our request to sit outside was denied.( we saw no reservation cards on any table while there. The other item was the Mezze plate we ordered and we were advised that they were out of olives that evening, so the plate would now have additional picked veggies. I found that odd that a restaurant that is so inventive in its dishes could not substitute another item from the kitchen to round out the plate...in addition, the additional veggies seemed the same size as our last mezze ordered the previous week. A Mezze works with multiple items.. a distinct flavor taken away seems to reduce the taste enjoyment.

When arriving my family and I were greeted with robotic servers that had no sense of communication. Service was sloppy with little to no interaction and no eye contact. Server spilled water on the table while filling my glass yet failed to fill my wife’s glass, took dishes without asking if we were finished, and gave us food we didn’t order. On a brighter side, food was healthy and super tasty. Both my wife and I had the Mac and Cheese and loved it followed by the lime cheesecake which was incredible for being both gluten and dairy free. If you’re looking for a really great spot for tasty healthy food, this is an awesome spot, but don’t expect anything short of subpar service.

6 of us for my son's Birthday. He was the only one who enjoyed his meal, but said it was just all right. Mine was dry and tasteless ravioli, that was burned on the bottom. Expensive meal, but happy to pay if it was good. Should have gone to trusty old Rebar instead.

I don’t recommend this restaurant for solo diners/travelers. They were not welcoming unless I wanted to sit at the bar, and the waitstaff was efficient instead of friendly. This was very early on a Friday night when the place was empty.
It was a very hot summer day so the restaurant was hot inside at 5:30pm. There’s no air conditioning and there are big windows which let in light but also heat. I was surprised they didn’t have any cold summertime desserts, like sorbet.
The food was good and I am glad it’s 100% vegetarian restaurant so I’m giving it three stars.
If you want to give it a try, definitely make a reservation no matter the day of the week or time of day.

We had a Mac ‘n’ cheese and mushroom burger, along with a starter (only minor complaint, it arrived with the mains). Food was great, service was friendly. Among the best meals eaten in a couple of weeks in Canada.

The dinner and service was fantastic. The bread, the mac’n’ cheese was so delicious. We ordered Mac N Cheese and the Eggplant Moussaka. The moussaka portion was tiny for the $26. It should have had a side of salad or something. It was more like an appetizer. The Mac N Cheese and bread made up for it. We did not leave hungry. The staff are wonderful and the variety and flavours of the food make this a spot for a good meal. I will definitely eat here again.

A friend suggested we go here when we planned on meeting for dinner. Right from making the reservation to the end of our meal everything was wonderful. The service was friendly and genuine, the selection and quality of food and drinks outstanding. Wish we lived in Victoria as we would be moving in! Thank you

We came across this restaurant by chance not long after it had opened. What a great find! The bowls were superbly tasty, the wine excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful. Our dinner was the best we had during our latest stay in Victoria!

My daughter is vegetarian and I am gluten free. This was the perfect spot for us. Our meal was fantastic. Great flavor combinations. Highly recommend!

Ordered half order because I wasn’t super hungry and things are so so expensive these days… tiny little bowl was more like 1/3 order compared to friends full order… very small.
Also ordered their hot toddy drink…. So sour and lemony that I couldn’t take more than a few sips as it was so acidic my stomach started to hurt… yes since sensitive stomach so if you do - don’t order it.

As a working professional chef for 35 years, these guys killed it!!! Enough said??? Heck yes.

Warm beet salad, yes!!!
Had the two features of the day.
Once again, yes!!!.
