Just stopped by for a glass of rosé first and been looked at so pretentiously, Lady I’m from France, don’t do that. Second, asked for the bill with the order didn’t come had to ask again and repeat myself, third gave a $20 for a...drink at $11, after ten minutes the change still not back and one of the waitress came to me asking “Did you still want the change?” I beg your pardon? I would have paid by card the question wouldn’t have happened first, and second you expect I’d leave $7 tips after taxes for a 6oz cheap rosé glass and sitting ten minutes on your patio and releasing the seat as soon I saw a couple coming by courtesy cause I was alone sitting at a table of 4? How disgracious your team is. You were so over staffed for few patio table since inside was closed. I’ve been working for V2V from the beginning to the end which was your neighbour and sent many many many customers your way and you couldn’t know that, nor the fact I’m born and grew up in Bordeaux and don’t cheap look me babe I know things you’ll never ever know and I’ve spent summers in Monaco eating at L’hermitage so please keep your attitude for yourself. I was planning to leave the $20 with pleasure anyway but wanted to be my decision not a greedy assumption, instead I left in a flash as I felt cheated and cheated and dirty. This is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I definitely won’t go back and when people ask me I’ll tell the ladies waitresses team are a bunch of thieves be careful to whoever asks me cause you don’t deserve my support. Went to Friends of Dorothy for lunch the same day was oppositely absolutely fantastic and so polite and so caring and respectful I left the place with a huge smile. You think you’re fancy? No the view is, and your menu is basic, and you made me wait 5 minutes at the entrance nothaknedging I said hello how are you you didn’t acknowledge ofrespond it’s really bad, not ready for the patio omg if you had the inside open it’d be a catastrophe. Taking customers for granted cause you have the location... so lazy.More

Bang bang chicken on happy hour with a cold brew hit the spot and was a great deal, on top of all of that the view is the best in Victoria with the patio facing the harbor, string lights, heaters and blankets! My sever Jaime...made the experience 10x better, she was very accommodating and I felt in good hands. She was professional, had great recommendations and was VERY clean. Will come back soon, as long as Jaime is working!
The food was amazing. The staff, Josh, was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the twilight overlooking the harbour was out of this world.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and amazing experience this is the place to dine. Affordable
The happy hours there is a good way to try the local beers while having a look at the harbour. Nice food too! Good location, homey ambiance.

Hey thank you very much!! Come back and visit us again soon! We are having another DINE AROUND even coming in April and local Victoria breweries will be taking over our patio for each week in month of June!
This restaurant has a great view of the Inner Harbour if you are seated window -side, which is very possible as this place was quite empty when we arrived for a Saturday lunch. Mostly booth seating by the huge windows overlooking the water and you...can also dine on the patio with giant heaters and big umbrellas. The restaurant interior is majestic due to the grandiose windows and elegant crown molding and has interesting decor commemorating its historical significance (this building used to be a steamship terminal). Our waiter, Jake, was kind and helpful. Our food took a long time to appear, about 30 minutes from when we ordered and we waited for our bill too. Vegetarian and gluten-free options available with an emphasis on fresh, local food. The fish tacos were great if not sloppy to eat and other dishes ordered were good. I found the prices a tad steep but this is typical of downtown Victoria, esp. with view and beautiful building to dine in. Covid rules are definitely in place here, with plexiglass between booths and table seating, waitstaff wearing masks, hand sanitizer at the entrance, and separate exit. Limited, free street parking just west of Oswego St. Wheelchair/stroller-friendly. 3.5 stars.More
Planned dinner out as part of Dine around Victoria 2021. When we first arrived, hostess that greeted us was less than engaged and wanted to seat us in the middle of an empty section - ambiance zero. Thankfully my husband spotted a window table and...asked a different server if we could be moved and she was more than willing to assist. Turns out it was her table, we should have kept her name, as her service was excellent - all we knew was she was a student studying Biology! The menu for the Dine out program was one of the best we found and it didn't disappoint, Excellent appetizer salad and mushroom soup, my partner had the Steak and I had the Pasta and both dishes were excellent. We chose the Creme Brule and Chocolate Pate desserts and thoroughly enjoyed both. Very enjoyable evening and great value for some excellent food! Will definitely come back again.More
We had lunch on the patio. There are lots of heaters to keep you warm, and wind barriers. So you get a lovely view of the harbour. The service was good, albeit a little slow getting the bill. The food was very good. The chicken...fingers could have a little more chicken and less crust. Fries are very good. The fish and coleslaw were delicious. Good beer and wine selection.More
It was our first visit of the year in 2021.
Very good food.
I ordered four dishes-
Nashville Chicken Tacos a must try(Suggestion:Ask for a hot sauce as its gonna give a good kick if you looking for a spice)
Bang Bang Chicken-Good One.If you...don’t like fry just skip it else just try it. But little in quantity
Shrimp Gyoza-Very nice. You get 6 of them but big one.
Sears Dynamite Sushi-Very good
Overall a very good experience in the beginning of the New Year.More
How difficult is it for the greeter to say hello? sorry about the wait? good to see you? apparently it is very difficult.
view is nice
the entree arrived BEFORE the appetizer - like how does that happen? without apology.
the entrees were luke warm...dessert - but not offered coffee
no refills on water
and the restaurant was no where near their 50% capacity.
Seems like not good value for price - many other good restaurants in town
just a really unfortunate dinner for NY Eve.More
