My husband & I went on a Travelzoo deal, and shared the oyster sampler for an appetizer, then I tried the clam linguini and he had the mushroom ravioli. We wil return for the oysters for sure! Absolutely wonderful, each one being different than the last, but all delicious! With a shared salad, this would be an awesome dinner! The... More

We went to this eatery through a Travel Zoo coupon which gave us a shared appy, 2 main courses and a shared dessert. Service was excellent and the only reason we did not rate as a 5 star is the condiments with each of our meals were not to our liking. The Salmon and Beef that we had were excellent... More

Received a travelzoo coupon as a Christmas gift - absolutely amazing meal! I highly recommend the baked oyster sampler for your appy - its one of each and is $18. I had the pan seared cod and my boyfriend had the bouillabaisse - both were delicious. Crème brulee for dessert and I was too full to finish it! They had... More

What a wonderful place for a nice casual dinner!! The meal choices are excellent due to the menu which is just right. The choices are limited which means attention to quality in the meal is paramount. The portion sizes are just right and the flavours are delectable!!The ambiance is old Victoria yet comfortable. We will definitely return and would highly... More

We ate at the upstairs part for dinner. We tried 2 of the baked oyster specials, the warm cauliflower salad, and the wild caught salmon. While the other items were OK, the salmon tasted only of lemon. It's a shame to come to the west coast to eat salmon that doesn't taste like fish. The service was very nice and... More

Enough said - pan "fried" (I would call them sauteed) plump, delicious oysters bathed in garlic butter...totally delicious and don't forget the bread for sopping. We also had the baked oysters, panko fried oysters and oyster pasta - all were good but next time we will skip everything and just order the garlic butter fried.

I decided to come to this restaurant because a friend saw this on a TV show. We ordered steamed local clams and mussels to share and each ordered 6 baked oysters. You can never get enough of that oyster, it tastes so good! One of my friends also got the wild mushroom ravioli and I would definitely want that if... More

Excellent quality & quantity at a reasonable price. One of my go-to restaurants. Can be quite busy at times but worth the wait. Usually we share an appy and two mains but always have leftovers. Never have room for dessert. And I don't even like oysters!

My wife and I go to Victoria about once a year for a quick getaway vacation close to home. Every time we go, we come to Ferris (the upper level). We have the baked oysters (six huge, plump, juicy oysters each prepared in a different style). This, plus a bottle of wine makes for a great dinner. Get there early... More
