Excellent food and wine choices. Dave knows his wines and has curated a great list to pair with the food at Ferris' Upstairs. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great dining experience

My wife and I ate there this evening. I had a starter, the oysters cooked three ways and that was delicious. For the main course I ate the bouilabaise and this was very disappointing. For a start, it was not hot, merely warm. I was...tempted to send it back, but service had been slow. The name tells you it should be served piping hot. Bouiller is the start of the name, French for "to boil". Having it served luke warm was just wrong. It tasted ok, but nothing special. Finally, I have no idea why mayonnaise was squeezed on top of it. Again, that seemed quite wrong. My wife had the prawn linguini and rated it as passable. I doubt we will go back there in a hurry.More

I ate here several years ago when visiting Victoria and remembered so fondly the roasted cauliflower salad. I am not even particularly fond of cauliflower but had to make a visit when in the city this month. The salad was even better than remembered! Spouse...and I shared it and scallops (the most amazing I had ever eaten!) and the grilled squid. Loved it all! And to top it off, the chocolate brownie was to die for. Excellent service from Benjamin. Thanks to the great chefs!More

Quick last minute early dinner tonight and managed to grab an outside table. With great heaters, and even in February, we were plenty warm enough. Quinn, our server, was attentive making sure we got a last call in for more Happy Hours drinks and food....Ferris' has been around for 30 years and their food is always excellent, well priced and always hot. Loved our selections - the mushroom pate in particular is excellent. Happy Hour portions are well sized to share with your dinner partner.More

We ate dinner upstairs last night. Two of the four people at the table have severe allergies. Benjamin was superb! He took incredible care to check everything as well as explain ingredients etc. Then, we were delighted to eat a delicious meal! We highly recommend...Ferris Upstairs!More

The best food! We had seafood chowder, a burger and the spicy lamb wrap. The app was great to order takeout and the food was piping hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!

Low key upstairs restaurant. Great spot, service was terrific, great fresh oysters. We shared the clam linguine and bouabaise. Highly recommended for an upscale casual dinner. Very Covid friendly too, felt totally safe in the environment there.

I love burgers. I just came here and had the falafel wrap and it is out of this world. This wrap excites my taste fuds in amazing ways. The house salad is really good too. Would 10/10 recommend the dish to my meat eating friends......the falafel is a vegetarian dish btwMore

The artists from the newly opened Market Collective (one-of-a-kind shop in The Bay Center) strongly recommended Ferris for our final night dinner and trumpeted it as a local favourite. We booked the Grill heated patio outside for a casual dinner but Ferris also offers “a...fancier” option upstairs. Food was great and prices fairly reasonable although I did raise an eyebrow at being charged pretty much full price for a small ceasar salad despite subbing it for the frites that came with my steak dinner. Steak was great and my wife really enjoyed the bouillabaisse which is basically a fish stew...”so yummy” in her words! Lol A great dinner choice with top flight service and a pleasant casual atmosphere for us at The Grill.More

I haven't been to Ferris' for many years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. There's a reason this restaurant stands the test of time. The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the grilled salmon with crab risotta cakes. The...dish did not disappoint. So yummy!! My friends had the prawn linguine, mushroom ravioli and seafood laksa. They also all raved about their meals. The heated outdoor patio provided a wonderful atmosphere for a really enjoyable evening.More

Depends on the time of year. Summer time I definitely would make a reservation. Bar seating is actually a lot of fun with lively conversations.
