The Fish Hook has a great "at home" atmosphere, eclectic and fun! Simply the best chowder in town! Unique dishes, great location!

Great food in a very small, but funky, atmosphere with reasonable prices. Can be difficult to get a seat as the space is so small, but worth the wait if needed.

We stopped in for lunch last week, and it was over-the-top delicious! We had the salmon pekoras which were amazing, a shrimp dish that came with mango-coconut-chili dip, and the daily khatch with rock cod. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Okay people run, skip, ride on over to Fishhook Mermaid Wharf for Chefs Creek oysters I first had these 2 years ago and when I see them on a menu I’m in. These are delicious morsels of local sustainable seafood at their finest

With so many really good reviews it's difficult to write something that has not been said. The food was amazing - so creative and with so many layers of taste. The service was fabulous, considering it is a walk up order. Our mouths are still...More

“Wow, how does he write so many reviews?” I can almost hear you ask. Normally, I try to write them very shortly after the experience. However, in my office, I have a stack of receipts that I haven’t written about. When I do write about...More

Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere in this second Fishhook Restaurant in Victoria. It's much bigger than their 1st one, with lots more menu choices. These include unusual seafood dishes attractively served. There is an outdoor patio for the summer, but the interior is large and...More

We wanted to try Fishook, having heard good things. The service was excellent and they were easily able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We had a very pleasant evening and would happily return.

If you like a lot of fish in your chowder, this is the place to come. A bowl of soup is only about $5 and a chunk of crusty bread is an extra 50 cents. They serve amazing meals and wine as well.

One of my children has severe food allergies, including nuts. We were able to enjoy a delightful meal at Fishhook. Staff is super friendly and approachable. Kitchen is open so you can just ask the chef himself. Good luck!
