This was our second choice for Thai food but we're very glad the other restaurant was closed. I agree with travellerVictoria_BC- its a great find. This is a very popular restaurant judging from the number of take away orders alone. The service was good and...the food was delicious. We haven't had Thai food this good in a very long time and you'd think otherwise since we live in Vancouver. We'd highly recommend this restaurant but bear in mind that they are very busy (its a good sign).More
went there tonight for the first time, was very pleasantly surprised. the food was excellent, the service was good. no complaints at all. it looks like they do a lot of take away or delivery. the restaurant itself was fairly empty
Fantastic improvement. I went back with local friends three times later as my friends insisted. Apparently, on the one bad experience I had it was because of the main chef wasn’t in for the day. How lucky!!! Other that day...Foods are delicious, fresh, powerful taste....My favourites are papaya salad, Nua daad deaw, Khao moo yang, Isaan wings zab, and sticky rice. Food tasted disappointing and not authentic. One of the server was unpleasant, guess it was busy for her. But customer didn’t need that unpleasant vibes. Two orders took more than 50 minutes. Drunken noodles tasted like pad se- ew. Requested for racers spicy as it...should be but there was no chill in it. Grilled pork neck incredibly tough. Wasted my time. Doesn’t smell very nice in there. Price is high for blended and in authentic. Maybe the rent is expensive so we pretty pay for the rent not for our food. I tipped 15% for takeout anyway because the other server was nice. I do not recommend.More
I used to like coming here for the Tom Ga Gui (coconut-based) soup and I wasn't disappointed this time either. I had it medium as the Thai people's definition of hot is BLAZING. I added some extra heat and the fermented fish oil to result...in a perfect blend of my Western and Thai tastes. Ummmm. So good. Now that I've moved back to Victoria.."I'll be back!"... you can be Beathoven!!!More
Dinner with tired and grumpy kids. Wanted something they would eat so settled for rice based food. The staff were brilliant making sure the kids dishes were no spicy and keeping the food coming for the ‘not hungry’ teenager. Really enjoyed the meal though did...the usual mistake of seriously over ordering. Even though for a family of five this was a reasonable priced meal.More
Highly recommended! The chicken curry and spring rolls are fantastic, very, very fresh. It was so good we made a 45 minute journey to go back a second time. They have specific hours and close for a bit mid day so planned timing in needed....Also, great prices. The best and least expensive meals we had on our trip.More
I go here for the chicken fried rice. So good, tasty and fresh. ive been to more than a dozen spots in the city and this is my favorite for this dish. i will keep coming back.
We have been going here every time we visit Victoria and this trip we went twice! The food is soooo good. Subtle flavours really enhance the meal. The service is excellent and very friendly, the decor is not fancy but is very nice, and it...seems popular with everyone. Can't wait to get back.More
The Thai Siam Restaurant looks like a tiny "one of a hundred" restaurants in Victoria....until you enter it and enjoy a great Thai meal. I visited the Thai Siam Restaurant twice in the week I spent in Victoria, and both times I enjoyed VERY nice...and friendly service and a delicious meal.More
We were looking for a tasty quick bit for lunch while doing a walking tour of Victoria. We were delighted to come across this restaurant. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent.
I have been eating here since it opened although I live in Vancouver it is on my must visit list when I am in Victoria. Fried rice dish, curry or prawns-every dish is simply divine
Went there for short trip business and have a chance lunch Pad Thai. Wow it was very good and love with spices Service should be more detail and attentive
Ordered fried rice for delivery, the bottom of the pan unfortunately burnt and this made the whole dish taste strongly burnt. For $14 not impressed, definitely should have been remade not sent. First and last time to order delivery from here.
