Great pho at very reasonable price. Tofu and veg curry was very nice. Note the curry is a bit sweet.

We have walked by this restaurant many times and it always looked inviting so we thought we would gave it a try. We were impressed with the service (quick, efficient and friendly) The servings were generous and delicious. My wife and I thought most of...the items on the menu looked appealing so looking forward to another visit. The price was right on spot.More
so fast i was amazed and delish~.i was so surprised how fast my meal came and each bite was heaven i will be back soon.
Some very nice choices here. An enjoyable atmosphere and good as take away as well. Would recommend it to try.
Food was good if you are looking for something fast and half decent. You get decent portions and the taste was ok.
We stopped for lunch, our first time at this restaurant. It is fairly small and inconspicuous on the lower level of Tillicum Mall. The menu is quite varied and reasonably priced. I had the BBQ pork sub and my wife had some salad rolls. Both...were Yummy and nice sized for the price. It will be on our hit list for Vietnamese food.More
We met a cousin here for lunch. We ordered and our order arrived quickly. We liked our chicken grilled lemon grass vermicelli bowl. It was a generous portion and it was tasty. The salad rolls with tofu were also very good. The place was packed...for lunch. There was free parking in front.More
More like jerky and cartilage with an overpowering licorice flavor. First time in my life I couldn't finish a bowl of soup. Pay a little more attention to what you guys are throwing in your dishes if you want to have people coming back.
Great fast service,a large menu, excellent food served with a smile. The pepper sauce on the table is extra hot, be careful.
I came in for soup the other day, pho was good. Although service was extremely lacking. She never checked on me not one time I was there. To top it off when my wife came and sat, she didn't offer a menu, water or even...acknowledge she was there. Id highly recommend retraining of the staff on how to greet customers and the basics of being a server.. So the food decent, service is almost non existent.More
We were sooo cold and the thoughts of hot soup was uppermost. We saw this Vietnamese Restaurant & thought, " how perfect for hot soup." Turned out to be delicious.
This is the first time I have tried this type of cuisine. It was very tasty. Tried a few appies and had the PHO. It's very good I'm glad I went outside my box to try it. Will come back to this location to try...other new things.More
We stopped in looking for a place with bubble tea because it was after 7pm and most of the mall was closed. The food may be excellent but the "bubble tea" is made from powdered mix. It cost more than $5 and tasted like mildly...flavoured coffee mate and water and left a film on the inside of my mouth.More
Saigon Char-Broil in the Tillicum Mall is a great restaurant, the food is excellent, friendly staff, good prices.
This place is in a strip mall in Esquimalt, BC. We were trying to decide what to eat and we were walking towards Mcdonalds, when we decided to give this place a try. First off, the service wasn’t great. We seated ourselves and waited a...while for the waitress, we had to get up and get cups and serve ourselves water (not a huge deal but it’s supposed to be a waited table style restaurant, not self serve) she didn’t seem overly helpful with the menu, which was difficult for my friends who had never had Vietnamese before. The restaurant itself is pretty cute, and has nice décor, but the food is not a match. I ordered my go-to, which is a chicken vermicelli bowl, one of my friends got the same as me and the other went off in left field and ordered beef soup of some sort. My meal was okay, if you take out the gross chicken. It was cut weirdly, mostly dark meal and had a lot of fat and gristle on it. I was super disappointed. I ended up picking out all the chicken and just eating the noodle bowl. The friend who got the same as I did felt the same, but felt even worse later that night, and had diarrhea all night. The beef soup though, that took the cake, it had weird thin greyish slices of beef and tasted like dishwater, my friend was gagging trying to eat it, I tried to tell the waitress it was awful but she shrugged it off. It was a $20 waste of money, they also ordered bubble teas and didn’t finish them. I do not recommend this place at all. I’ve had delicious Vietnamese and this is not a place that has it.More
