What a great gem in Victoria. I went in for a late dinner on the weekend and had the best experience. They have some special where you can a 3 course meal for just $25 dollars. So I had a famous clam chowder, fish and...chips and yummy dessert. Everything was great - music, food, service.More

Great all rounder; food, beer, service, atmosphere, live music all day. Perfect for an afternoon snack or a meal in the evening. Highly recommend.

Absolutely gorgeous pub in downtown Victoria. Service at the bar was fabulous. Live music was fun. Has a huge selection of taps. Even have their own booze buddy!

We came here for lunch and had the Irish stew, kids mac and cheese, clam chowder, and fried oysters. They were very allergy conscious and were good at checking ingredients. After finding out my first choice had an allergen, I asked about the fried clams....They were very hesitant to cook this for me because the panko was from a supplier and they could not guarantee it to be allergy free. After some looking into, I determined it was safe for me. They even brought the food up separately from the rest of the group to prevent contamination. I really appreciated this extra step of caution. The first bite of the fried oysters was warm and good. However, the center was still cold. There was a nice crispy crust, but they could have all been cooked longer. I would have sent them back, but we had a limited time capacity. The Irish stew was bursting with flavour. Kaitlyn was our server and she was very friendly and attentive.More

Love the Irish stew and soda bread, bangers and mash and the shepard's pie. Very casual, laid back atmosphere. Great wait staff and bar tenders. Manager jumps in and helps out when it's busy. We have visited several times and have always had a great...experience when we go.More

It feels very rich and historic in this beautiful venue. Service was excellent and the place was already hopping late afternoon. The warm truffled mushroom dip with crispy salty chips was delicious. It was a real treat to have such a generous portion of salmon...on the salmon burger. A side of local Dungeoness crab bisque was very tasty. A must try is the pan seared West Coast Wild Red Snapper with lovely grilled asparagus bathed in a caper cream sauce on top of a citrus rice. Yum! Prices are very reasonable and the quality is top notch. You got eat here!More

We had a great experience at this beautiful pub in the heart of downtown Victoria. They have an extensive beer list, and a true Irish pub type menu. If you are hungry for hearty Irish stew, Shepherds pie, and delicious Oyster PoBoys, this is your...place. Can't beat the atmosphere. We had an excellent server who was well versed on the menu and beers. Highly recommend!More

Stopped for a light breakfast albeit there is a number of options for a larger breakfast plus a happy hour alcohol included option. We shared a bacon potion with toast & coffee, good quality and tasty.

Called at 16:00 on a Sunday afternoon to find out if they could accommodate a party of 12 - very friendly chap at the end of the phone advised how best we do it as they couldn’t take a group booking so late in the...day as there was a cruise ship in port that evening and Victoria was super busy. We followed the hosts instructions and was given several tables upstairs, the food was fantastic with lots of different items ordered - all 12 of us left very well fed and very happy. Thank you to the staff at The Irish times. Our only complaint was that it was crazy crazy hot upstairs.More
