Good, Cheap Eats

This clean and efficient diner is very well run by hard-working, cheerful staff. The omelettes are light and fluffy but the cubed potatoes were barely cooked. However, I usually don't finish the potato sides anyway. Their coffee is top notch. My travelling partner really enjoyed the waffles special.

As good as recommended!

Looking for great quality food, large portions, excellent service and affordable price. This is where you want to go. We have visited Vernon a few times this summer and always make sure to head here for breakfast at least once, each time. Not only has each meal been amazing, but we were even able to buy a fresh loaf of their in-house made purple yam bread. We will keep coming back here for a dependable excellent meal.

A little out of the way but worth it

Visited here for breakfast. Finding this little restaurant was a bit of a challenge but worth it. We had a wonderful 2 egg, hash brown, toast & 2 bacon breakfast for $8.50. Everything was cooked nicely & the toast was a nice multi grain. Service was attentive & pleasant. Would have liked to eat lunch here too but no time. They are only open for breakfast & lunch. I would be happy to return when in Vernon again.

Solid breakfast place

A family owned and run place, popular with locals. Unlike other breakfast places in town this one is open 7 days a week, so a good option on a Monday or Tuesday when other places are closed. We had omelets, and the portions were generous, with two thick slices of homemade toast, and hashbrowns. Staff are super friendly, service is fast and prices are reasonable. The food is decent - nothing really special, but you won't leave hungry and it's good enough.

Not greatest experience

Went here as it got good reviews. Was seated straight away. Waited for a server in meantime a guy came in and was seated. He placed his order before us and another couple who were in before him. Got the feeling he was a regular?? Regardless do the people in this place not realise that a customer is a customer and should be treat the same. Finally got served asked for coffee and 2 x breakfasts. Waited and waited. By the time our food came out the guy who came in after us had eaten and was paying up. Coffee took ages to come out and food alot longer. We were one of the last customers to come in and so it was not so busy that it took as long as it did. Food came and was very average. I have had better breakfasts. My partner did not tell me until wed left but he found a hair in his food. Had I known I would have brought it up. Service was poor, food was average. I will not go back and would not recommend.

Vernon's Only Awesome Traditional Filipino Restaurant; excellent food but not the best place for vegetarians options.

I always hate breakfast restaurants, but Rosalinda's is the lone exception of my thirty years on this Earth. My girlfriend is here from Manila for the summer. I took her to Rosalinda's as it is the only Filipino restaurant in town. It has been around for 10 years. Rosalinda is the cook (she starts cooking at 3am), and her husband is a local Blue Jays fan. The whole staff is Filipino and speaks Tagalog. My girlfriend felt very comfortable here. The Filipino menu is very authentic. It's like being at a Tita's home somewhere in Luzon rather than a Jollibee. It isn't the best menu for vegetarians/vegans like me, but the Spanish Omelette was amazing. Even the bread tasted really good. I hate 99 percent of all toast and omelettes, but not here. Other than the Vietnamese restaurants, it's the cheapest in town. Since it's one person cooking, hours are limited to 7am-2:30pm. So get here early!

Great Food, Great Prices

You are immediately greeted as you step in the door and seated quickly. The varied menu has great choices and every one of them delicious. The quantity is generous, the quality mouth wateringly great and the price is the real bargain.

The restaurant was full but only waited less than 5 min to get a table. Services was great as usual. Ordered the Mana dino burger. Home made burger pattie and fresh ingredients. Great bang for for your buck.

Great Lunch, Awesome Value!

I chose this restaurant as it has all day breakfast and that is something my husband enjoys. Turns out we both got adventurous and it paid off! I had chicken eschabeche and my husband had some kind of soup. Fast service, delicious food and great Covid 19 protocols!

Excellent breakfast or lunch in Vernon. Consistently excellent food. We have never had a bad meal or experienced bad service. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Superb family run business. The only restaurant that if we have to wait for a table it's worth it.

Amazing as always

Have been going here for 7 years, always friendly staff and the food is delicious and good value. I take everyone there from work and guests from out of town. Never had a bad meal there. Highly recommend

We had breakfast here this morning for the first time. The food and service is awesome. It spotlessly clean. The staff are following all the procedures properly. Our server was really happy polite and efficient. Portions are big. Prices are really good. We will definitely be back.

Have stop for lunch when passing through Vernon multi times. The staff are friendly, food is very reasonable and good. Love the Adobo chicken. May have to wait a bit at lunch time. Nice atmosphere operation.

A good all day breakfast.

We arrived for breakfast at 9.45 and joined the line up. Waited about 15 minutes. A very popular place for a Sunday morning. I had the meat lovers, but the sausages were small and poor as were the 2 small bits of ham. Best to just order the bacon and eggs as my partner did. The shredded hash browns were good but not cooked enough, as I like them crisp. If there again I’ll try to order than. Great poached eggs. Interesting Philippino dishes (crispy fish etc) and several people ordered them. Pastries to take away. Big cinnamon buns but they were just average.
