We ordered a variety of dishes and all were good, but nothing was outstanding. I couldn't believe how small the dishes were. The Tom Yum Gai was a tiny bowl and filled mostly with mushrooms - very disappointing. Goong Himaparm (prawns and cashews) was $17.95. They only filled 1/2 of the bowl used for take out. I have never received... More
New owners have taken over and food is not quite as unique as it once was but it was still good. Friendly staff and we let them recommend our food choices just for something different and we were not disappointed. We were dining late and had the place to ourselves so service was good. Quaint and cozy but nothing has... More
Great little family run Thai restaurant. The panang curry was my favourite, just enough spice & tons of flavour! They have a combo platter where you try 6 dishes for a decent price, if in a group of 4-5 I would recommend this. Service was very friendly and inviting. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates Thai... More
This was my 'go to' restaurant about 5 yrs ago and at that time the owners used fresh ingredients (which you could see them chopping up through the pass through into the kitchen). The Amarin Thai Restaurant has been a go-to place for many years - it's where I've taken family, friends and visitors. But, last night will be my final visit. It was slow on a Tuesday night - we were the only couple in the restaurant and there was one take out order while we were there. Service was quick, but... More
Our taste buds were seeking a change up and led us to seek out Amarin Thai. It's a comfortable, small restaurant with more diners than I expected to see so early on a Friday night. And the take-out business was brisk as well. We shared the spring rolls to start, and then went on to share a shrimp dish with... More
I've tried this restaurant twice in the last year, and both times I have been sorely disappointed. The first dish I tried was Pad See Ew, and the dish was 90% rice noodles with a few (and a mean a few) bits of broccoli, 3 small carrot pieces and onions and 4 pieces of chicken the size of my little... We share a parking lot with the folks from Amarin. Its so nice to have fresh delicious food right out the back door when you just dont feel like cooking for yourself. The flavors are so bang on. I love all the spices and fresh vegetables. Lunch was so yummy.
