We ordered take out. I haven’t had a sit in meal here but the portions we had for takeout weren’t very much. I expected more. Some dishes were good, some were only ok. Pretty pricey for a family to eat at. On the plus side,...the people working there were very friendly and courteous. In our picture, you will see the spring rolls looks like a lot, it’s 2 orders together. Spring rolls were good but the other meals were lacking.More
To start, service was great. The young lady serving us was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful (not to mention efficient and hardworking). All COVID protocols were in place and respected. We ate in and enjoyed that immensely. Our Amarin spring roll appetizer was hot, flavourful,...and nicely seasoned. My main course, sesame beef, was also delicious, super flavourful, and the vegetables were cooked tender crisp - perfect! My husband enjoyed his gai pad med ma-muang with prawns immensely. Again, it was seasoned perfectly and there were tons of cashews (and a dozen prawns!). We shared jasmine coconut rice and it was also delicious. Portions were very generous. We can hardly wait to go back. Fabulous Thai food!More
Each dish for takeout had slop presentation. No additional toppings (sprouts etc) provided as would would expect for dine in. Cornstarch was the overwhelming presentation We ate 1/2 but honestly the cornstarch and sugar ruined it. The fact that we had to pay $$ for...rice to be added to our $18 slop in a cup dish will not have our family or company coming back or expect any good thai food from here. Last lear i was put off by being charged $13 for less than 3oz of chicken on a stick. The sauce is not worth the cost. Please impress where you can and not cheap out Save $$$ and get it from a random food court.More
I love Thai food so every city we travel my husband always orders Thai dishes We are staying in Vernon for business purpose and we had to check this restaurent with high rate reviews. we thought we ordered desserts as soon as we taste the...dishes This is the first time we couldn"t finish any of three dishes. The green curry was full of corn starch with condensed milk and way too much sugar which was hard to eat my hubby thought this was Wonka food not thai food due to the sugar content i started having headache right after tasting them. They possibly put tons of MSG. I feel really bad to leave this negative review but i want people to know how they cook their dishes. i feel bad to leave this negative review maybe they fired the cook so the owner has to cook. this is my guessing what a disappointment in a nice city like Vernon i don't think i would go back there ever again thanks for readingMore
I eat at Amarin nearly every week. The food there is so incredible. The flavor of their dishes is excellent, I find that may places compensate with spice. My entire family which includes 4 children under 8yr loves Amarin. It is the best thai around....And they are so friendly. I love being able to support a local small business and be able to eat incredible food.More

Waited about 10 minutes for a drink and placed our order, over one hour later still waiting, for food, called the server over and she spoke to our server, who came to our table and asked us what our order was, which she seemed to have...remembered, but had failed to take order to kitchen! She asked us if we could wait 10 minutes more, we said no! We paid for our drinks, which should have been complimentary at that stage, the girl said sorry about three times and said they were confused as they were very busy, no real apology and no manager came over to explain or to apologise with feeling!!! Never in my life has a server forgotten to place my order, shame the food looked good! However their seating is too close and the staff do not stand back or wear masks, their menus are in plastic, so sanitizing is not up to par!More
Stopped here for supper on our way to Naramata. Food was delicious we had Pad Thai with prawns and Panang curry with prawns- and there were enough prawns in each dish. COVID 19 protocols are being followed and we had no safety concerns. Would eat...here againMore
