great coffee, great eats

Unfortunately for us, we discovered this gem on our last day visiting Vernon. The proprietor was welcoming, gregarious, and generous. He was excited to share his excellent coffee and prepare a gluten-free sandwich to go. He offered us a sample of his mother's butter chicken special, and the almond butterhorn was tender and flavourful. Warm, casual, bustling vibe. Our only suggestion would be to tune up the washroom.

Best Coffee Shop in Vernon

We recently moved to Vernon and from our first visit to Bean to Cup we were very impressed not only by the extremely friendly service but also the quality of the food and coffee. The owner has created an amazing ambience and him and his staff truly understand what creating an experience is and how to provide great customer service. Very impressed and they have gained our loyalty!

Best find in Vernon so far

I recently moved to Vernon and have been exploring the local cuisine. Bean to Cup has been made favorite so far. Some may say the pricing is a little high, but it worth every extra penny for the service and fantastic food and drinks. This is a must try if you're in Vernon!

A Great Pick For Your Java Fix

Bean to Cup is small cafe converted from an old heritage home, slightly out of downtown Vernon. It is the perfect stop to grab stuff and go, or when we have more time we like to sip java in the charming and cozy front room. @beantocup is the only specialty coffee bar in the northern Okanagan that roasts their own coffee beans - bonus! For being such a small place they sure do pack in a lot of character. There’s lots to look at and read while you wait, even the bathroom has a drawing challenge to get featured on their IG! ..we know it’s not much but maybe we’ll win a feature for our gnome homie🤞🏼we left here this morning with a smile and a few tasty treats, the berry smoothie is one of our highway highlights this morning. Check them out if you’re ever in Vernon!

The Atmosphere!!!!!

I am in Vernon visiting a friend and he RAVED about the chai latte and demanded I go. So he took me and treated me to their breakfast panini and we got a free chocolate butterhorn! The food was incredible! The staff are so friendly, recognized my friend who had only been there once previously. The building was so damned cute and quaint. We went back for the iced chai this morning and it was a milder version of the hot chai but so very refreshing. The food was great! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Friendly Staff, Delicious Food

We preordered online and when we arrived at the parking lot it was clearly busy with other people coming and going and a delivery truck unloading too. We waited a few minutes and then I thought it best to just go inside to ensure they had received our order. All was good, our order was ready for us and they were just dealing with everyone else ahead of us. We laughed and chatted for a minute before I left. Satisfying breakfast and smooth drinks at the beginning of a long driving day are just the best. Thanks to two cheerful people who made our day begin with smiles and healthy food. Highly recommend.

Feels like home

We were looking for a small Mom & Pop type breakfast place, we find most places in Prince George BC lack that Love & care in food preparation and it is your standard out of bag blah tasting food. But what a pleasant surprise to find that when one walks in you are greeted in a warm and friendly manner.......like as if you were a regular customer or old friend that visited daily. The service was something that is lacking in today's society at most places, pleasant, warm and very accommodating. It just kept getting better, the food was fantastic, from the out of this world breakfast sandwiches, to the vast selection of the most delicious pastries I have had in years. Coffee in warmed, LARGE cup, with flavour that surely gave credit & legitimacy to the business name. When paying with what was a pile of $5 bills. The owner and I joked about that and had a good chuckle, but also commented to me, he was thankful I had so many as he needed the smaller bills for customers. I do highly recommend this place for sit down or a fly by pick up and drive visit!

Great food, funky cafe.

We stopped here for coffee and a snack en route form Revelstoke to Kelowna. Its a couple of blocks off the main road through Vernon, but we found it on Google maps. This cafe, set in a quaint old house, has loads of atmosphere. The food was great - delicious bakery items and freshly made sandwiches to order. My only criticism was that the coffee was weak.

Great place for breakfast or lunch

Every time we drive through Vernon, we stop in to the Bean to Cup. Their coffee, breakfasts, and lunches hit the spot. Best of all, the owners are super friendly and nice to talk to. You can quickly pick up some thing in a hurry or you can relax in their cozy indoor or outdoor eating areas.

Great service and great food!

I set up shop today at Bean to Cup Coffee House in Vernon and they were exceptional! So kind and welcoming and their Pesto chicken wrap and coffee were delicious. I totally lost track of time and didn't realize they close at 2! They were so nice about letting me stay for a little longer and made a tough work day a million times better. Thank you, folks!

From the moment you walk in greeted by a smile and a hello, you’re at home here. Absolutely impeccable and friendly customer service, prompt and clean table service, delicious menu items, and a comfortable and warm atmosphere. Absolutely excellent.

Bad batch of espresso beans?

Shockingly bad tasting latte. Stopped to pick up breakfast sandwiches and lattes before heading home. I was really looking forward to a great latte as we had been drinking Keurig coffee while at the Airbnb. Nope, huge waste of money. Watered down latte with burnt tasting espresso. Egg sandwich was just okay.

Hey you guys - I have followed you for years and looked forward to treating myself at B 2 C when I come through every summer . But good lord it's a 7 hour drive from Calgary. I can only drive so fast and leave so early! Give me a break hey? I have missed it two years now every year since you close earlier! First 4, then 3.. now 2 pm. Are you kidding?? Sheesh!! Do you not think people need caffeine after 2 pm???? SO disappointing!!! Looks like I am going to have to find myself another cafe... that has more normal hours of operation!

Lovely atmoshpere plus warm and toasty for a winter's chilly day. Overall an 8 but did find the noise level a bit high plus the lovely people behind the till had a hard time hearing us and the same for us to be able to hear them. Our order was unfortunately mixed up due to the hearing problem but was still good.
