I got the pork rib plate and it was awful. The ribs were dry and tough, not typical of baby back ribs where the meat falls off the bone.

My husband and I came here because of all the positive reviews- which is soooo confusing, it feels like it was ownership or staff who had written them. We both ordered a Benny to share. I got the bacon and he got the pulled pork...Benny. The bread they serve this on is so hard, a butter knife really can’t cut through it. The spinach was horrible, it had a very fishy taste to it. I would have given this feedback to someone, if any staff bothered to do a quality check. Also, a single Caesar is $13!? Very over priced and incredibly underwhelming.More

Buzzing atmosphere with a plentiful selection of real ales and cider. Try the sampler, and better still, happy hour is from 8pm. Staff are really nice, friendly and efficient - even helping us plotting out our next day's plans - thank you!

This restaurant was highly rated and I’m a sucker for great brisket. Sadly, everything was a HUGE disappointment! The brisket was dry, cold and tasteless, we saw the ‘chef’ cut open a bag to put it on our plates. Potatoes were stone cold, cole slaw...was beyond bland and more wilted than the wilted kale. The only thing that I would recommend was the cornbread and friendly service! If you’re looking for a great meal out, keep looking!More

We were on a tour of British Columbia and were recommended this restaurant by Helen from Nichol winery in Naramata. We’re so glad we followed up on her suggestion. We visited twice; once for lunch and the next day for dinner. The range of local...beers was excellent and a flight was the perfect way to sample some. The menu was comprehensive and the selection of veggies was innovative and impressive. We wanted a veggie lunch and had plenty of choice. Chargrilled Brussel sprouts with balsamic were a revelation- no more boiling them for six weeks for a traditional British Christmas dinner for us guys! Also loved the kale with garlic, and the batter coated cauliflower. The hummus was delicious and I think home made. The day time setting is delightful- light and airy and surrounded by trees- it felt like we were in a little forest away from the hustle of the main drag through the centre. There is a large outdoor area but we chose to sit in. There is a small dinner menu in addition to the comprehensive all day menu so we chose to return the following evening. We all rated our meals outstanding - roasted chicken, rack of ribs, lamb shank, and some perfect in-house smoked salmon. Presentation was pleasing without being pretentious and the portion sizes were generous with vegetables included (although we ordered another Brussel Sprout side cos they were just so delicious…). The evening atmosphere differed from lunchtime- more relaxed, as is to be expected. On both occasions the staff were super friendly, helpful and efficient. We were too full for much dessert but shared an excellent New York cheesecake. A great place to round off a fabulous trip to Canada. Thank you.More

Nice relaxed atmosphere and straightforward menu. The team are very positive about offering a gluten-free option for everything on the menu. So I chose what I felt like, which was a burger. What I hadn’t understood was that adapting it to gluten free just meant...removing the bun! ( and charging the same) They graciously gave me a portion of coleslaw to compensate, when I challenged this, but I would have preferred a gluten free bun. The burger was good although the horseradish sauce was bland. It was unclear how the other dishes were adapted to GF on the menu.More

We had dinner for two on the patio. Service was okay. Beer selection good. Food (Burger had two different burgers - pulled pork and beef) have been good. It wasn’t busy. However, staff wasn’t to bothered about the plates that have been left behind by...leaving costumers and the birds have been all over it. Not pleasant when you are eating next to the bird fight.More

Went here while we were staying in Whistler and loved the casual counter service in what is a fancy tourist town. The food was delicious and full of fresh local veggies that was exactly what I wanted after a week of heavy food. I had...the beef brisket one night which was awesome and then the next day came back for the falafel for lunch. Will definitely go again next time we're in Whistler.More

As others have said this place is really good. Had the salmon with greens and a side of potatoes. Was all really nice. With an Irish Stout, and friendly staff - very good!

Three different Whistler locals said that this is their favorite lunch spot and to be sure to get the brisket. I’m not sure if they were paid to give that advice as the brisket was bland and nothing to write home about This place is...counter service. The food was overpriced and bland. The bathrooms were dirty (and restrooms all over Vancouver and whistler were exceptionally clean).More
