We had super nice food here - chicken was excellent and salmon good! However, our waiter spend most of the evening talking to the couple sitting two tables away from us and it was pretty difficult reaching out to him. And I god the wrong name on my bill… But again - good food!

If you want a fantastic breakfast buffet and don’t mind spending a bit, I’m not sure if there’s anything better in Whistler. Benny’s, made to order omelettes, danishes smoked salmon, fruit, waffles, scrambled eggs, hard boiled…almost everything. Very nice, helpful staff as always.

Party of 4 went for the 4 course fall menu at $49. The options provided were okay, but 3 of us ordered up at extra cost of $15 for 2 hokkaido scallops (seems a bit pricey for 2 scallops but tasty) and the pork belly with it was very nice. The beef tartare up grade for $10 was okay and very tasty and adequate amount. The mains selected by 3 was the steelhead, okay flavour but slightly overcooked, ample amount of veggies provided. Other dish ordered was the duck breast at extra $8. The duck was also slightly overcooked, but tasty and very generous amount of veggies, potatoes and sauce. Dessert 1 - pumpkin cheesecake, very nice Dessert 2 - sticky date pudding, tasted good, but for the lactose intolerant person they failed to sub the ice cream with 'any' other topping ie: fruit compote and therefore tasted one dimensional. Especially to note is that the 50% off selected wines, where the waiter failed to be clear that the list already had the 50% off listed. So the $42.50 bottle of white wine that we thought was to be 1/2 that, was not. The wine then was regular $85! This while wine is $20 in the store. We spoke with the waiter and said that we were not explained the pricing properly and the waiter was able to get the bottles priced at 50% off their special list pricing. Thanks Markus. It would be nice if the restaurant didn't just provide expensive bottles of wine at 50% off (ie: regular $85 - 125), as some people are looking for a fall special of wines in the $35 - 50 range and then 50% off that. No one in our party ever buys $85+ dollars of wine.

We have been going to this restaurant since it first opened many, many years ago. Never fails! Food great, service friendly and efficient as always. Mark, our server, was especially delightful to converse with, and made our meal even more pleasant.

Oh my days!!! The most incredible breakfast selection I have ever seen and tasted. You must arrive with a good appetite as there is so much to appeal to each and every palate. Hot ham and pork, omelettes and egg dishes cooked to order, continental style breakfast with fish, cheeses, so many bread selections, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, cakes, cooked breakfasts - you get the jist!? Service was great, attentive without being overbearing. Coffee was delicious and mint tea wonderful

Enjoyed dinner at The Wildflower on our last night in Whistler. The scallops as a starter were awesome. Loved the west coast seafood chowder. The beef short rib was exquisite. Excellent service. Looking forward to our next visit.

We were here for a wedding July 2023. The menu was set as we were with a big party. The choice of appetizers was mediocre, so was the taste. The main was great, i had short ribs. The dessert never came. After 2.5 hours, and many apologies from the waitress, we decided to leave the restaurant.

Once we got our meals, ( the service was slow) they were delicious and enormous servings, I had the salmon with a side of brussel sprouts ( one of my favourite vegetables) I could have eaten the whole bowl, they were delicious! Hubby had the bison & lumberjack fries & was also very happy with his meal choice. The only let down was the cost of drinks, a glass of wine $18!

Dinner was OK. Tomato and coconut soup to start, I couldn’t taste the coconut and a striploin steak, rare, was OK but only had Dijon mustard. Two ipas to drink, no, or very little flavour, the cost of the ipas was knocked off the bill which was a very nice gesture from Amer. The bill was $200 for the two of us which was a bit top heavy but not too bad, very pleasant surroundings.

Disappointing with the experience at the wildflower. I don’t know what happened to the Fairmont. It used to be a luxury hotel, but now it’s crawling with people in every corner. Expect nothing different at the wildflower. We went for the breakfast buffet. my wife, and I found ourselves in a crowded buffet. We could barely hear our voices. The worst part was that the service was terrible. The server himself was very good and kind, but overworked. He was serving too many tables. Meanwhile, there were lots of people around working at the restaurant, but many of them were chatting with each other at times. The croissants and baked goods seemed stale. My wife found the muffins to be hard. The omelet station was excellent, that was the best part. Overall, we expected much more. We won’t be coming back.

Had better buffet at truckstops. Very sad selection for the price charged. What they did have was not what you expect of the place like this.

We booked this as a special anniversary meal. I emailed to book as wanted to mention that it was a special occasion but they took a while to respond so actually booked on their website. The restaurant was cosy and they seated us near the large window overlooking the gardens - just like I asked. The food was lovely, we shared the scallops and belly pork for starter, I enjoyed the duck for main and we both had the white chocolate and blueberry cheesecake. All courses were incredible! The service was first-class. Our server was so lovely and friendly we could sample the wine and she gave me recommendations. At the end they bought us a lovely anniversary plate with our dessert and truffles, which made out night even more special. Highly recommend for a romantic meal or special occasion.

If you are looking for something different during your next visit, we recommend trying the Grill Room, our signature restaurant.
