Went into Milestones at around 11.30 am looking to have a drink and possibly some food . Upon entering we waited by the host table and were passed by six different members of staff none of which even looked at us let alone acknowledged us.... When the host eventually appeared we were told we would have to go on a waiting list despite the place being virtually empty . Needless to say we left and won’t be returning. What a shame a warmer more hospitable welcome was not offered as we would have waited .More

A great place with great food but totally let down by the host ! Has more attitude than you care to imagine. The servers would go out their way to help but she ( the daytime host) clearly thought we were there to do her...a favour.More

Great food and service at the base of the mountain. We really enjoyed talking to the manager and watch everyone see down from the mountain..

Great location right at the bottom of the ski run into Whistler village. The food was hit and miss. Shrimp salad was average and the Thai Green Curry was very very ordinary and luke warm. We wouldn't go back here as there are plenty of...other much much better food options in the Village.More

We arrived without a booking & were seated at the bar which we were happy with. The barman Alex was very accommodating he was able to advise about wines & also gave us suggestions from the menu. He was excellent however whilst he was serving...us other staff were frowning at him. We weren’t sure why But it didn’t make us feel very welcome. The food the wine & Alex’s service were excellent Overall the restaurant vibe was notMore

I ordered salmon and asked for it medium rare. What I got was dry and overcooked by any standard. Our server, while friendly and fun, never asked how the food was, even when she saw that I had eaten less than half of it. What...a disappointment!More

Here’s a restaurant that’s fallen off a cliff. The restaurant was less than half full and it took 45 minutes to get a table. Then almost an hour for food to come. The staff said they “were slammed” and “short staffed” though they had lots...of time to socialize amongst themselves and attend to their phones but not their guests. Their indifference to their unhappy guests as well as tables that had not been cleared in over an hour was clear. The bathroom was filthy and worse than nightclubs. In contrast, Hy’s the following night was brilliant.More

We popped in for a couple of drinks after a day of exploring and we had fantastic service from Jo (originally from Southampton). Great spot to watch the world go by with a nice outside area. Perfect way to end the day.

Absolutely delicious food, really friendly service with a local vibe. Situated on the slopes if you’re here to ski, and it has one of the best views of the mountain.

The staff were polite but not particularly welcoming. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived (and did not get any busier while we were there) but the guy on reception made a big thing of ‘trying to find us a table’ although in the...area where we sat there were quite a few empty tables which stayed empty. We both opted for sirloin steaks from the menu only to be told 20 minutes after ordering that they didn’t have any. We were then given the option of upgrading to fillet steaks which were obviously way more expensive. (Cute trick!). After another 15 minutes our server came back and informed my husband that the sauce he had chosen to accompany his steak was also unavailable. The steaks when they eventually arrived were good but served with a few measly vegetables and enormous mounds of pale and tasteless fries which covered about 65% of the plates. My husband eats faster than me so was finished before me. The server then came by and whisked his plate away and tried to take my glass which was not empty. It meant that I was left sitting eating on my own which was quite uncomfortable as I felt that I was being made to hurry. This has also happened in Milestones on previous visits. What’s with this rude habit of whisking plates away before everyone at the table is finished eating?More

My husband and I went for lunch during our ski day. The restaurant wasn’t very busy but our food took a long time. Good thing there were tv’s to watch football on so we had something to do while waiting. And I found the menu...to be much more limited than it used to be. I found very few choices for a light lunch. I settled on a salad and I enjoyed it - it had goat cheese, strawberries, and pecans in it. My husband ordered the fish tacos but he found them full of onions which were overpowering so he could hardly taste the fish. He wouldn’t order them again. We live part-time at Whistler and have our favorites and we probably won’t hurry back unless we hear that it has improved.More

My first night in Whistler and I was hungry. I was staying at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Google Maps on my phone directed me to this place for supper. I liked the look of the place as soon as I entered. Big screen TVs...everywhere and the New England/Dallas NFL game was on. I felt like I was in a sports bar/pub. I ordered a grilled chicken burger with side salad and Coke Zero. Service was great, the place was not busy, and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. I hung out a bit after eating to catch the end of the game and my server was in no hurry to move me on. Nice place. Great atmosphere. I'll be back if I'm in town again. Thanks!More
