So good I came twice (that's what she said)

Just what you need on a cold winter day on the slopes, visited twice during Christmas week for lunch and dinner. We tried the classic aussie (mince and onion), butter chicken, steak and mushroom, beef and cheese and meat sausage roll. The Aussie was my favourite. Had mash, gravy and my GF had the mushy peas as add ons. SO GOOD!!!! Packed full of filling and flavour. Just a heads up - there's hardly any seats in there and really busy so better to get it to take away - they give you cutlery and box it and bag it for you. You can also order on the tablet they have inside as the gap between the door and cash register is quite tight if you line up.

Oh my goodness that is a good pie!!

A fiend recommended this place, I was slightly hesitant to go because it’s only a pie - right? Wrong! These pies are outstanding. I had the steak, cheese and bacon pie with all the trimmings. Everything about it was perfect and super tasty. The other great thing about this was the price - why bother with a fancy restaurant when you can have something so delicious and quick for $13. I’ll definitely be going back to work my way through the menu. Don’t hesitate - go right now!

What a great little place. Service was really quick and our pies, fully peaked with mashed potato, mushy peas and gravy, were absolutely delicious. Eat in or take away, the pies are excellent value and there's a huge choice including vegetarian and sweet options.

Small place , sits 12 only. Many customers pack to go. But if u eat in , u can have mashed peas and gravy added on your plate ! Yummy hot selection of savoury and sweet pies . Australian owner so Lamingtons are on the menu :) Friendly and hard working ladies work non-stop cheerfully. Will definitely visit again and again !

Tale of two pies...

First found the steak/bacon/cheese pie at the Nester's grocery store our second day in Whistler, and it was AMAZING. Even though it might have been out for a while that day, the flavours were fantastic. Stopped by the Whistler Peaked Pies location, ordered the same (as well as a spinach/cheese roll), but this one was not as successful. More gristle than meat for the steak - someone didn't catch the fat and gristle there before it went into the pie. Also SUPER peppery - verging on too much pepper to enjoy it fully. Other flavours were good, but the gristle on the meat was disappointing.

When it comes to doing things properly peaked pies have all facets of pie making and service nailed. The shop buzzes with energy the moment you walk through the front door. Then comes the pie experience which is second to none. Slammed packed with flavour these pies will. Blow your mind. Get around these guys you'll be well satisfied.

Excellent idea, quick pies with mash potato and peas. The choice is fab, including vegan selections. The presentation of the food is brilliant, it's big portions but I thought the meat in my pie was poor quality. But everything else was perfect.

Wish I'd gone again

One afternoon I was on by own sine my family was skiing so I treked over to Peaked Pies. I say treked because it was a bit of a walk from the gondolas in the village where we were staying. It is much much smaller than I anticipated so I bought my pie to go. I ordered a steak pie and since I would be carrying it back on a 10-15 min walk I opted not to have gravy, potato or peas on it. I also ordered a piece of cake that started with an "L". LOVED the pie. So wish I would have had another chance to get over there again. The cake - not so much. In fact even as a sweet lover I tossed part of it out. Not bad but for me not worth eating either. But the pie - great crust, piping hot tasty filling and nice chucks of steak. I wish they had a place closer to the gondolas.

Being from Yorkshire we love a good pie and these did not disappoint. Although the mushy peas were not traditional mushy peas (more like squished garden peas) they did not detract from our enjoyment of the meal. Highly recommended, especially with mash, mush and gravy

Being from the UK we are rather partial to a pie do we were delighted to find this gem whilst in Whistler . I had the Aussie Traditional peaked( mash potatoes,peas and gravy topped) and my wife had the Chicken and Leek peaked . They were both delicious and hit the spot after our long walk . Very friendly and efficient service . A must do place to eat in Whistler ( or Vancouver )

We opted for a takeaway meal consisting of a peaked pie, a mini lamington and a drink. Excellent value at around CAN$17 for a delicious comfort food meal. The pie was served at just a perfect temperature to enjoy along with the mash, mushy peas and gravy. My only disappointment was that we missed the fact that we could have eaten at their other outlet in Vancouver as it was just around the corner from our accommodation there. Will definite telnet for our next visit to the area.

Absolutely lovely, pure comfort on a plate

Looked forward to this all day and it absolutely did not disappoint! I had the peppered steak peaked pie and hubby the chicken, leek and mushroom. The pies were piping hot, mash creamy, peas lovely and flavoursome and gorgeous gravy. A great sized portion of comfort. Although very busy the service was good and the young lad from of house especially had great customer management. Highly recommended

We stayed in Whistler for 5 nights, and I think my wife ordered from Peaked Pies every day! The chicken pie was just amazing, so much flavour. I did not want to share it. The meat pie was also very delicious. We loved the desserts, like the lemon pie, the berry pie and the caramel pie. We had all of them at least twice as we could not get enough of them!

I can't go to Whistler without eating here at least once. I usually have the steak with black pepper and it's always delicious but also I love the chicken and mushroom. Everyone always seems happy with their choice so just go with your gut. Tastiest meat pies I've ever had.

10/10 Pies! Not just saying that

Easily one of the best pies we’ve ever had! Being Australian you have standards and expectations for your pies and this met them all. We had them peaked (which is of course more of a British thing) so wouldn’t normally have it but this place did it amazing. The pie itself I can say without bias was a 10/10! We all highly enjoyed them and recommend you get one as its honestly unreal! You can tell the bakers really care and love these pies they make not only for ex pats but for anyone looking to try this taste of Australia in Canada
