My wife and I ate here on Dec 6th. We had Murphy as our waiter and he was exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy and what you would probably be looking for on the cold winter nights, especially as we sat right beside the fireplace. The prices are probably the highest we've payed in whistler or vancouver. although our meals were... More

There are plenty of good restaurants in Whistler, but I believe that Rimrock Cafe (really a restaurant, not a cafe) reflects the "real" Whistler. The atmosphere feels much more authentic to the Whistler ski-town vibe than the other highly rated restaurants in town, which all feel too formal and not "ski town" enough. The food is always consistently delicious, and... More

My husband and I came here for American thanksgiving night and they offered a turkey dinner. I ended up going with their 3 course menu, lobster bisque (with huge chunks of lobster in it), tuna tataki and Tuna poke in a miso and sesame sauce, and finally their lobster, prawn, and scallop main course. All three were excellent. The bisque... More

Sticky toffee is better than advertised. Everything at the Rimrock is intended for the discerning gastronome. If you appreciate good food, wine and service the Rimrock is for you. Don't bring your kids here for chicken fingers. They'd be phenomenal, but unnecessary.

Rim Rock never disappoints. There is a reason why it was recently voted as one of the best restaurants in Canada. Top quality food, service and atmosphere for that special treat.

I recently went back to the Rim Rock Cafe after a long absence. I think the last time I ate there was over 20 years ago and before I had children. It was one of the top restaurants in Whistler back then and a lot of development has occurred in Whistler over that time. There are a lot of great... More

The Rim Rock is one of those rare places that delivers excellence every day to every guest. The food and drink (including the wine list) is spectacular and unpretentious in a humble yet lovely setting. If you find yourself in Whistler you need to go to the Rim Rock Cafe. Even if you don't have a reservation try an drop... More

I can definitely say that this is the BEST restaurant in town, it is outside the village stroll but worth the drive. Amazing food, great drinks and really good service!!

Description
In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
