This is a once a year treat when we go skiing in Whistler. The whole year I dream about the Rockefeller oysters (and other delicious local oysters). The wine list is exquisite for wine pairing. You can pick two ounces glasses if you would like...to diversify and pair your wines and appreciate the sommelier's selection. The lamb shank is absolutely delicious and although I am not a fan of dessert there is no way we do not order a plum pudding (I don't even like plum pudding so just trust me, try it). Also very safe during Covid, separators between tables are very discrete and classy you forget that they are even there. ;-) enjoy!More

We have been to this restaurant a number of times but this was our first pandemic visit. They have done a wonderful job of maintaining their usual very fine quality of service and food even during these difficult times. I have never had a bad...meal here over at least six visits. Without a doubt the best restaurant in the Whistler area. My seafood trio was perfectly prepared, creative and delicious. My husband enjoyed his well prepared sable fish entree. Even though we chose a lower end bottle of wine we still received the same excellent service and lovely crystal ware. There is no looking down anyones nose at this place. Highly recommend!More

The reservation was made by friends who live in Whistler. A wonderful choice for a meal that was delicious through, well proportioned and very good for the price. No wonder the place seemed full even with the required protections. Service was attentive but not pushy....Happy to return.More

My husband and I had a great time at Rimrock. We had the four course menu and every single course was amazing. Our server made great suggestions with both the wine and food, and was very attentive. There were so many options for a fixed...menu, and the portions were generous. My husband requested the table in front of the fireplace, which was very romantic. We will definitely be eating here again on our next trip to Whistler!More

Just returned from RimRock. It’s a well known local fine dining spot in Whistler. We had a wonderful meal, but was the only spot during our stay in Whistler or Vancouver Island where we didn’t feel very safe,....ie tables are a bit too close. Noise...level is high, plexiglas between some tables, but didn’t feel particularly safe being there.More

We have bee going to the Rimrock for well over two decades. Consistently fine dining has prevailed during all that time. We were up in Whistler on the 3rd November, and went along for the three course Special. It was so good we badgered them...to book us in again for the 4th! Scott looked after us superbly well both evenings, and Bob - the owner - was attentive as always. All the dishes we had were first class, and it remains our very favourite restaurant in all of Canada. The quality is so good, creative cooking and lovely presentation. And the wine list could hardly be bettered. Well Done to all.More

10/29/20 had an excellent dining experience. Food was to die for, and the cocktails superb. My compliments to the kitchen and bar staff. Our server, LUCIA, was outstanding: knowledgeable, personal and attentive. Special shout out to EDA our hostess who was caring and welcoming.

One of the most amazing meals we've ever had! We both had the $49 - 3 course menu and enjoyed everything immensely. Top marks for service and the rack of lamb, lobster bisque and venison. All covid precautions in place. Priced on the high side...but "you get what you pay for" holds true here. Wine prices quite high but we found an affordable Malbec. It's been less than a week since our delightful visit and I am already dreaming about a return one day. Well done Rim Rock!More

It remains my favourite place in town, amazing food and top notch service. Our waitress Lucia delivers a great service, one of the best I have experienced. Out of words to describe the food. Definitely a “must do” when you visiting Whistler.

Nice casual wear is acceptable. Shoes, sandals for women. No slippers or flip flops. Collared shirts for men. No shorts, cut offs . BTW, try the sticky toffee dessert.
