Wow wow wow! What more can one say about this iconic Whistler restaurant. It definitely met and exceeded our expectations. The ending was particularly good as we were able to choose a fantastic Armagnac off their incredible spirits list to cap things off .

First meal in Whistler after a long drive. Delicious. All three meals were great, I had halibut cooked to perfection. The boy had a pasta with mushroom sauce which I was able to sample, very good as well.

Araxi in Whistler is a perfect apres ski delight! The cocktails, freshly shucked oysters, housemade pasta, truffle popcorn and desserts were all fantastic. Just as wonderful is the exceptionally friendly and courteous staff. Our compliments to Ross (the bartender), who was always very attentive and...More

Most countries do not celebrate foreign holidays. Just as it is unlikely to find a Thanksgiving dinner in the US on the Canadian holiday, the same is true in reverse.

The culinary cornerstone in the heart of Whistler Village, Araxi enjoys a long held international reputation for excellence in food, wine and hospitality. As an early pioneer of farm to table dining, Executive Chef James Walt's seasonally focused menus celebrate the excellence of locally sourced ingredients. Walt's innovative and skillfully executed dishes-from savoury starters through delicious desserts-deliver intelligent compositions and unforgettable flavours. Centrally located in the main square of the village, Araxi boasts a contemporary dining room coloured in warm earth tones - and a sleek Oyster Bar that exudes the passion and craftsmanship that lie at the heart of the restaurant. The lively lounge, which features a year-round indoor/outdoor bar, is Whistler's favourite gathering place for both locals and visitors alike.
