Went to the Bearfoot Bistro for drinks on the first evening of a 4 day visit to Whistler in March of 2017. I enjoyed the experience so much that my friend and I went back every evening of our stay. Jason, our favorite bartender, was the most knowledgeable bartender I have ever seen. He was professional and friendly. The entire... More

Old, slow, pretentious and expensive served with a dose of attitude from the waitress. 3 hours for a truly mediocre dinner at best. Will definitely never go back.

This is really an excellent restaurant. Their wine list is extensive (and expensive); the menu just the right selection of starters, mains and desserts. Service people all friendly and helpful and efficient. Why not the full fifth star? I like my soup piping hot, and my companion's seared foie gras was also not hot enough. But the braised lamb shank... More

The food was excellent and really enjoyed the fois gras and the lobster dish The baba was less inspiring but ok. Chef is to be complimented The service was very average. Our waiter had a long social discussion with the table next to us while we were waiting for her attention The wine list is overly long and pretentious Seems... More

I had superb meals, excellent drinks and most important, a team of 4 expert bartenders making our vacation stay amazing. The food was expertly prepared and served efficiently. The tenders knew their way around my friends exotic tasting needs and made the best mixes we had ever enjoyed. Paul, Osha, (dang, i do not remember the other 2 performers) and... More

Having visited 12 months ago we were eagerly anticipating our re-visit. What an unpleasant shock, the service and welcome condescending the menu development into a "fine art@ of extorting money. @The Chef only prepared to present taster menu (just shy of $200 if ALL dining at the table take this option !!! Incredulous. The additional charges for that desired to... More

I have tried both vodka room and Champagne cork shaving experience at their famous wine cellar. Both good experience and my parents loved it. Food is decent, yet a bit pricey but you are in Whistler so it is expected. If you are on a budget, try a champagne bar , the bar food is pretty good and also they... More

My friend recommended that I go here for dinner and sit at the bar. I went kind of early b/c I wanted to eat and go back to my hotel and relax. There weren't many people at the restaurant but for whatever reason the three servers at the bar couldn't find the time to help me. After 30 minutes I... More

We have been to many great restaurants , including Michelin rated so we understand value. This spot is simply trying too hard. The food is "good" but not worth the cost and the austentacious feel is a turn off. There are much better locations with better food and lower prices.

Had our wedding anniversary meal here. A little over fussy and tries a bit too hard but the food and service were excellent. Attempts "molecular cuisine" somewhat unnecessarily Pretty expensive It's clearly fine dining/formal and we dressed for the occasion. Pity the waiters were better dressed than many of our fellow diners....
