A trip to the Dubh Linn Gate is always pleasurable. Good pub food (meat pies, shepherd pies, etc), good beer selection (Guiness, Murphy's Stout, etc) good service, lively and fun.

If you're there for drinks and atmosphere than this is not a bad spot. Pub food is nothing amazing and don't order the salmon cakes. Luckily the waitress took them off the bill.

Our server was a pro. Nachos were epic, the beers were good and good atmosphere. The only thing missing was the patio fire. Other places had theirs going but this place didn’t, unfortunately. Otherwise great pub.

During our stay in Whistler we had two very nice breakfasts in this pub and also the Fish and Chips meal deal which was excellent. Very nice and friendly staff serving both drinks and meals. Worth a visit.

It not the best at it but it’s ok. It’s claim to fame is it’s just off the lifts so it’s right in the middle of everything along with the other bars along the bottom of the mountain. Its enjoyable. Can be fun as a...More

Six of us had to get in and out quickly as we had tickets to Vallea Lumina, and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. Our server had our drinks on the table in minutes, and our food was served within 20 minutes. The Cobb salad was delicious...More

Minors are allowed in the pub until 10PM. Live music typically begins at 9PM, so they should be able to catch the first set.

Description
Yes, Guinness may have been born in Ireland, but its Irish spirit is alive and well at Dubh Linn Gate Pub. Here you'll find plenty of charming people eager to meet you, some spirited live music, 25 draught taps pouring deliciously fresh Imperial pints, and authentic Irish fare to fill the belly and soothe the soul. It's a lovely day for a Guinness after all.
