This is a very fun place to eat, you fill your bowl with numerous choices to be stir fried before you and you take the freshly cooked food to your table to devour. TIP- pay attention here... you are charged by the weight of your bowl and the price can get expensive quick. Do not get any noodles as you will be served jasmine rice or brown rice free. You do not need to fill the bowl.. put some meat and veggies in with a scoop of sauce and be done with it.. it goes further than you think. Excellent food and service but watch the weight of the bowl, NO reservations so get there early to avoid crowds but definitely go!

Alright, so we are family of 6. Our girls have hearty appetites and so do my husband and I. And if you are like us, you better stay away from this place unless you want to pay a fortune. Lol Just kidding!!! But on a serious note, don't go to this place if you are super hungry, otherwise if your eyes are bigger than your stomach, you will for sure overfill your even smallest size stainless steel bowl, and you will end up paying something close to 60 dollars for your meal. Ok, no denial, it is enetertaining and very delicious. So with that said, we ended up paying around 400 dollars including tax and tips for our family of 6, and we all ordered water for our drinks. As about food and service. The food is really good but it of course depends on what you put in your bowl. The waitress will warn you that you better go with a smaller bowl rather than with a big one. The choices of vegetables, meats and noodles are plenty and sauces are all great too. The service is excellent. Two of my daughters have tree nuts and peanuts allergies. They cooked their meals separate (cleaned the cooking top with alcohol and used new/clean tools. I would totally recommend it. But just as I said above make smart choices. Enjoy!!!

Four of us climbed the steps to this popular restaurant. Staff was very friendly at explaining to us that they will weigh our bowls of food before they are cooked... and then you pay for what you eat and drink when you're ready to leave. The cooks were friendly and entertaining. We all enjoyed what we'd selected.

Most memorable new year dining experience for me and my family. When was the last time you weighed your mea? Be very careful on your choices. No need to put a lot of noodles because there’s a free refill of jasmine or brown rice. Don’t get overwhelmed. A small stainless meal bowl with sauce can easily cost $30-50 CAD (tax excluded). Over all, the place and service is ok. As long as you don’t mind spending $150 CAD for a Mongolian meal for a family of 4. Tips and tax included. Happy New Year

My 12 year old daughter loves Mongolian Grills and begged us to go to this place for dinner. I had called ahead to find out how things are working at the restaurant during Covid as I thought buffets were not allowed during this pandemic as those pose more risk. I was told they were opened as usual with the same layout they have always had. I was concerned about this but my daughter wouldn't let up so we gave in and went. We requested an outside table to lower our risk but when being seated were led to an inside table because they said it may rain. We said we would take our chances and wanted to sit outside. The manager quickly told us that if we sat outside and it started to rain we would not get a seat inside (which I thought was rude as the place was not busy). The hostess was very nice and started to put up the umbrella for us when the manager came out again and told her to stop as it wouldn't make a difference and if it rained the umbrella would just get drenched. Lucky for us it didn't rain or we would have been SOL! My kids 12 and 10 love noodles and went for the thickest noodles at the buffet, my daughter is not a fan of vegetables or meat so her plate consisted mainly of noodles and her meal came up to $50 seriously! for noodles! my son's meal had a small amount of protein and vegetables and his was $36. Our bill for 2 adults who don't eat that much and two kids 12 and 10, two beers and two shirley temples came to a whopping $187.00. This is daylight robbery for a stir fry. When my husband complained as he honestly thought a mistake was made the manager handled the situation arrogantly. We will never visit this place again way too expensive for what you get!

Stayed for a week in whistler and this was one of two restaurants we came back to. Nice ambiance in and out, good service, good drink selection. The servers explain right away that your meal is by weight and that rice comes free as you go build your stir fry they bring the rice and a couple sauces over while you’re gone. You shouldn’t need to add noodles that just unnecessarily adds weight to your stir fry with rice already waiting for you. Great selection of veg and proteins with tofu scallops prawns beef of many sorts marinated and not same goes with chicken and pork, lots of good sauces to put on as well. The boys on the wok are great , very friendly and put a few tricks on for ya. Definitely going to add Mongolie grill as part of our regular whistler rotation of restaurants for lunch or dinner. Thanks again

Hi Hunter, thank you for the 5 stars! It seems like you have mastered the Mongolie way by taking full advantage of the free, unlimited rice. We look forward to welcoming you back when you are next in Whistler.

Great for and service. you choose your fresh food from the buffet and then take it the hot-plate where they weigh it and then cook it on the open grill whilst you watch, if you like. Great friendly staff and good food, but as you pay by weight of the fresh ingredients in your bowl, you have to be wary of not overfilling (which is quite easy to do). Fresh hot steamed rice is waiting for you at your table when you return, so no need to add too many noodles etc when selecting your items. A fun night out.

I have just recently moved to Whistler and was walking around the village when I came across this gem of a place. As I walked up the stairs to enter this restaurant I was greeted with the most delicious smells you can think of (if I wasn’t hungry before, the smell coming from the restaurant was definitely making me famish). It was also so great to be part of a joyful atmosphere and not having to worry about covid as they did a really good job following with covid practices/protocols, it also seemed like the staff really enjoyed their jobs everyone was so friendly and always having a laugh but the best part is watching the chief’s as they do these really amazing tricks flipping the spatulas around whilst still having conversation and cooking your stir fry (who knew men can multitask). I will defiantly be back! It’s nice knowing I have a place around the corner from me who really takes care of their customers, plus getting the 20% off because I’m vegan HELL YEA! (They also offered separate spatulas to cook my meal) . Great job guys, keep up the great work!

8 of us eating, so had a 45 min wait... not A problem, the food is so worth it. 4 of us are vegan/vegetarian, so you receive a discount, but can have as many cashew nuts as you wish - bonus... Great fun for all the family - a true different eating experience, a little like a teppanyaki, but you walk around all the different foods with a medium or large bowl and choose what You would like. A fairly expensive way of eating but a show piece, so it’s worth it

A couple girlfriends and decided to go for a quick getaway to whistler for a night and grab some dinner and drinks. We were looking for a healthy alternative and after having mongolie grill recommended to us we decided to check it out. We were greeted by a friendly staff and were informed of the covid guidelines in place that reassured we were being kept safe. The room was very cozy and had a chill vibe to the atmosphere. Our waiter was super friendly and gave us a quick explanation of the concept of the restaurant. It’s build your own stir fry and everything is priced by weight. The waiter let us in on a few ways to make it cheaper for us like taking advantage of the free rice and going more mellow on the noodles. We were also pleased to learn that it was 20% off for vegetarian meals!! One of the girls I was dinning with also had a peanut allergy and was pleased that no ingredients or any on the sauces in house had any peanuts whatsoever. The cooks who were making our meals were all talented jugglers as well as chefs and they gave us a great show while they cooked our meals in front of us. When we returned to our table everything thing was there setup nicely for us. We all ordered Margaritas as they were $9 for a double on Monday’s with any flavour of our choice as well. Over all it was a great experience and we will be returning for our next girls night out in whistler!!

A recent trip here with my husband proved favourable among Whistler spots! Upon entering, Covid practices were in place with contact tracing and spacing- making it a comfortable entry. I was warned by friends that it could be pricey, though after communicating my concern to my server, we were assured we are in control and could choose items that might weigh less; or simply start small and can come back a second time for a fresh bowl. Rice is also complimentary! Great selection of fresh veg, proteins, spices and sauces to choose from. Overall an enjoyable experience from start to finish- Service, comfort, options. We will return on our next visit!

You could choose what you like to eat and for a vegetarian, there was enough choices. You paid for the the food on your plate after weighing it. After choosing the sauce you can give it to the the cook to finish it for you on a big baking tray. Nice to see how they was doing their art of cooking. It was very good how they treated the veggie food apart from the not veggie one by changing tools and on the different corner.

Went here for dinner while visiting Whistler. The concept of making your own stir fry is always a good thing because it gives you flexibility to customize your meal. The selection was excellent. However, if you dont know how to pick the right ingredients (less rice and more protein) you can end up paying way too much for what you are getting. I think its way too priced for stir fry plus the line to get your bowl stir fried was a bit long. If im paying this much, maybe a better system would me to leave it there and they drop it off on my table when its ready. Im glad I tried it but not sure if im a return customer.

Had lunch after riding with my girlfriend and it was delicious! The sever was extremely friendly and warned us about being priced by weight so I avoided the noodles and stuck with the free rice. My girlfriend was also super stoked that her veggie meal was 20% off. Will be back very soon!

Very few covid protocols in place, unfriendly service, and not worth the wait. We had been looking forward to dining here as we love going to different Mongolian Grills, but this wasn’t like any other that we’d been to. The guys cooking the food were fun, entertaining, and engaging - but the wait staff seemed disinterested in our business and made us feel unwelcome. During future visits to Whistler, we will not be returning.
