Excellent friendly service, but food is average. We had the lasagne and the italian sausage linguine.
Delicious homemade food. Focaccia is delicious!! Waiting staff very helpful and kind. A little gem of a place! Would definitely recommend.
It’s a hidden gem in a quiet part of Main Street. Prices are very reasonable with good serving sizes. The pasta sauce is home made and quite good.
Great Italian food in a very informal setting at a very affordable price. I will never spend time in Whistler without dining here.
Come across this place while we where in whistler, could not fault the food or service one of the best lasagnas I’ve had, don’t be fooled by the pricier instagram spots this is a hidden gem give it a go !!!
Super tasty afredo pasta! Really felt like we were back in Italy and not in Canada. Friendly staff, normal prices, cute little space. Tiramisu was not my favorite though.
I am Italian and I cook Italian. Scratch me takes a lot. I’ve been to Italy many times and I have to say this little corner place was so quaint and the pastor was so good. I’m feeling great find on our trip to Canada.
Fantastic rustic food - Italian done as it should be. Friendly staff, fantastic pasta, amazing bread and great beer - can’t recommend more highly. Relaxed setting and great price, but food you’d expect to pay 3 times more for anywhere in the world.
Read the reviews, and my daughter wanted Italian food, so we decided this was a good bet. The food was hit and miss -- the pasta was good, but the soup was served Luke warm and lacking salt. The main thing we experienced, however, was...terrible service. The place was only half full when we got there, yet we waited for ages just to place our order. That seemed to be the trend. It took a very long time for our food to arrive. My wife and I ordered another glass of wine before the food arrived and before the previous one was finished (because we saw how things were going) and we still waited halfway through dinner to get it. By the end, we felt pretty ignored. It never seemed like they were understaffed (that, of course, does happen sometimes), and no one ever apologized for the wait. Can't recommend it. We won't be back.More
Tonight, Pasta Lupino is a tranquil island of solid value in the otherwise stormy sea of dollar madness that Whistler has become. The first value point is the menu, while focused, accomodates vegans through carnivores. The pasta is fresh and properly prepared. The tomato sauce...is very fresh tasting. The Parmesean chicken is a decent portion, well prepared and quite tasty. The bread is outstanding -- high quality and salted in a stimulating way (and I bake my own bread). The second value point is providing corkage at a reasonable charge, allowing our table to enjoy a carefully cellared 2005 Bordeaux - St. Estephe Estate wine without destroying the mortgage payment - just a pin prick on the Visa instead! Great wine and great food was tied together by polite, accomodating and efficient staff creating a great dining experience.More
The spinach pasta was amazing and the sauces to die for - so authentic and delicious and very affordable for Whisler. Excellent service too - highly recommend this tiny little place!
We stopped in last minute and had a fantastic meal. The food was delicious and the price was very reasonable but what made our night was our server Tyler, he went above and beyond from the moment we walked through the door! He was incredibly...personable, professional and knowledgable about the town and area! We 100% will come back when we revisit in Feb! 👏More
This little gem was recommended to us and so we sought it out on our travels. We actually met the very Gorgeous Drew on the airplane on our way to Canada. He was such a handsome, happy and bubbly dish, told us where he worked...and so...... Lupino actually closes at 6 o’clock and we made it by the skin of our teeth by asking after Drew (who wasn’t even working). Coincidentally, he popped into the restaurant on his way out for the night. We greeted each other like long lost relatives but back to the food: It was incredible!!!! If you like to eat pasta there is nowhere else to go. Thank you lovely staff. And the bamboo chowder was yummy.More
This restaurant should not be called Italian, it’s an embarrassment to pasta. The entire meal tasted like crap you’d get out of a can or buy from the frozen food department for $4.99. Absolute waste of money!More
Hey Gary, Thanks for the review. We actually don't call ourselves Italian, we are Italian inspired! Very unfortunate that you didn't enjoy your meal with us. We take a lot of pride in making everything from scratch and with lots of love, this is why...More
