It is located at the Whistler mountain gondola station, just next up the Peak 2 Peak gondola. You can enjoy the nice scene from this Roundhouse. There are a coffee shop, two restaurants and one bar. We enjoyed a self-served restaurant, the food was up to standard. The ice cream is fantastic. The place was clean. You can also buy some souvenirs.

Stopped here for a cool beverage & snack while enjoying the outside patio to take in the sites & sounds below in the Village. All COVID requirements were in place. NOTE: limited menus in place during this time, no hot meals available.

It is the most busy place during winter when skiers are on slopes. You get great views from windows (but only on the sunny, clear day). Also patio is open during winter but it could be covered with a lot of snow...so don't count on those seats there. Next to Peak 2 Peak Gondola, so you can very fast get to another great "food court" on Blackcomb mountain, next door.

How sad to see this grand old lady looking every inch her age. And the food service….
So it’s busy, I get that. I’ve been here many times and it is always packed. But why no trays to carry food on? Why no forks? Why were several tills closed meaning my hot food wasn’t by the time I’d paid for it? I realise staff shortages maybe an issue but at these prices, quite frankly, I don’t care. Some staff were clearly working hard while others floated around charring to friends.
And the ladies toilets….There’s a hole in the roof, the soap dispensers don’t all work and it is a 50:50 chance with the hand dryers.
Come on Vail Resorts… try staffing the place properly - fix the hand dryers and buy some forks!

7 different meat entrees but not one vegetarian option. Long gone are the days a vegetarian is expected to be content to eat some side salad and potatoes and call that a proper dinner---and pay $125 per person + alcohol extra for the pleasure! Would you be satisfied with that for your dinner? Or do they eat the crappy kid's cheese pizza? I felt insulted when I politely asked the chef about the lack of any vegetarian offerings and he flat out brushed it off. Kinda rude. I'm really disappointed as I would have expected a more enlightened, inclusive dining experience in this day and age at a tourist spot like Whistler where all kinds of people with different taste preferences visit. Even our meat eaters at the table agreed they prefer to cut back eating all that heavy meat and would have preferred a vegetarian option or two as it's just too meaty a menu overall. You can and should do better than that for Whistler. We won't be back. A real shame as the view is pretty and the live music was a nice touch.

The Pika Cafeteria in the Roundhouse Lodge at Whistler had a delicious chicken pho, but unfortunately the rude cashier ruined my appetite. I was purchasing my bowl of pho and a bottled water when the male cashier asked me why I was buying bottled water. I replied that I was thirsty. He rudely responded that I should have used the tap water. There is no excuse for an employee to push his judgmental agenda on a customer while he is working at a restaurant that is selling the product he is shaming me about. I should have complained to his manager at the time, but frankly, I was speechless!

We spent a lovely afternoon touring/hiking the alpine mountains and decided to try the feast. The food was beautiful and abundant but not labeled for the main food allergies: dairy, nuts and gluten. Some servers seemed to know ingredients. I stuck to green salad, roasted veg, prime rib and shrimp but must have been exposed to butter or milk in something because I spent the next 6 hours with a sick belly. Please label your food. People with food allergies will be very grateful. Thanks.

After waiting at the bar to be served for nearly 20 minutes, I was given horrible service by Nick who was rude and unhelpful towards me. There are numerous ways my experience could have been avoided, obviously they were quite busy so the first solution would be to have more staff on, why on one of the busiest weeks of the year, with so many people waiting, do they only have 2 bartenders working?! It was very clear to me that the bartenders working were at the end of their patience which is the only explanation I can offer as to why they were so incredibly rude to me. A real shame considering I have been coming there for years, and usually love supporting local service industry professionals.

We highly recommend the Mountaintop feast. Plenty of food, great service, spectacular views! They even had a band playing. Enjoyed the almost 30-minute gondola ride to the top. We would definitely do this again if we ever make it back to Whistler.

Good food. Staff couldn’t wait for us to leave. Not good service for an American company. Much better when it wasn’t Vail. Don’t bother with it. Views fantastic but experience rubbish. Rude bar staff. Used to be friendly. Obviously paying peanuts.

Enjoyed my Cappuccino at the Roundhouse Lodge, even though service slow by young international staff more interested in each other than in the pensionado sightsee-er. Seating for hundreds if not thousands of people, multiple food outlets and little shops inside this large facility.

Like pretty well everything else on Whistler-Blackcomb, vastly over-expensive and just a fast food outlet now; very little range of meal and refuses to accept cash

Got a bad case of food poisoning from a bad burger at the Roundhouse Lodge. Knocked me out for the rest of my ski trip. Would recommend avoiding and to pack own food instead (especially with how expensive the food is as well).

The iews from here are absolutely stunning. To sit out on the deck and just looking around and all the scenery is breathtaking.

The staff was extremely rude and ignored us while we waited way too long for service. This could be a really nice bar if there was better staff.
