Fantastic, such a nice change from fried American style food. As good as any good UK Indian restaurant. The food was authentic, spicy and really tasty. We had popadoms and pickles to start, then I had a fantastic spicy lamb dish, the lamb fell apart...and was so tasty, my husband had chicken , the Nan breads were fab, from a proper tandoori oven, nice and crispy around the edge. If we had been in whistler longer we would have gone back.More

We had a wonderful meal in a relaxed atmosphere with great service. We ate here on a Friday evening and enjoyed their outdoor seating. We had the Lamb Tikka and the Eggplant Bhartha. Both dishes were delicious with just the right amount of spice. We...got the plain basmati rice and the garlic naan as accompaniments. The naan was perfect. My husband enjoyed the IPA they have on tap, while I loved the cocktail I got with gin and flavors of cucumber, fresh coriander, and a touch of chili. We heard that this was the best Indian restaurant in Whistler. After this meal, I think that is likely the case.More

We love Indian food, but found this very bland compared to several other restaurants we’ve tried throughout the years. In fact, we went straight to another restaurant to fill us up. Would skip next time. Staff was very friendly though!

Excellent food, warm hospitality. Phenomenal flavoring. Authentic northern Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Vegan available and take away available during Covid We are vegan for climate change and our health. So, I looked for the top Whistler vegan restaurants on the review sites. Sadly, the restaurant Elements, that is our top favourite, is closed Monday and Tuesday, so...we tried other places and then tried here and it was good vegan food. Many restaurants don’t identify on menu if food vegan, but the menu was clear here and there were lots of options for vegans. We ordered take away, as Covid still a problem and we felt safer. We had to wait after our order and that was half an hour- that is OK. When back at our room we enjoyed it. There were three of us and we over-ordered as the portions are generous. We choose spice level 1 for all dishes. We had the Vegetable Jalfrazie $16 Mixed vegetables cooked with onions, green peppers, ginger, garlic and a dash of vinegar; Eggplant Bharta $ 17 Whole eggplants roasted over charcoal, mashed and cooked with onions, tomatoes and paprika; Channa Masala $16 Chickpeas cooked with tomatoes, fresh ginger, onions and exotic spice and Vegetable Biryani $22 Indian Basmati rice cooked with fresh vegetables, onions, green bell peppers and exotic spices. Wow! Eating here was an emotional experience! The food is superb and the service amazing! I feel lo e for this place and the amazing people that prepared and served this amazing food!!!

Booked a table but arrived early and got seated straight away. The staff were really knowledgeable about the menu and made sure you knew what you were getting in terms of portion size and spice level. The food is amazing and there is plenty of...it. The chicken biriyani was so tasty and there was enough rice to share between two. It contained plenty of lean chicken and was lovely and moist. We also had the onion bhajis and chicken tikka masala - again the portions were more than adequate and the flavours were perfect. We love this place and coming from the UK we know a bit or two about curries but this is the best we have ever had!!More

The place is not very fancy but you get what you expect from an Indian restaurant. Staff in the kitchen is Indian so you can expect and will get authentic Indian food. When ordering food with curry, you are asked to choose how hot you...want it. We went for 4 out of five and did not find it that hot at all compared to what we had in the past in other Indian restaurants.More

The restaurant was empty, quick service although a second server had to come and confirm/ask again what our drink order was. Super excited as they had some vegan/veggie option, however when my vegetable korma arrived it was inedible - tasted so heavily of butter (which...I've never encountered before with a korma, normally mild and creamy but not butter) it was sickly. Our second dish chickpea chana masala was fine as were the poppodoms (although small). The server took ages to check on us, when he did I explained about the korma - at this point, the meal was over, rice cold etc. However, despite us saying at least 5 times, he insisted on the chef making a new korma. I understand they wanted to improve but we were ready to go. New dish bought out, again we said no alot. Eventually, he bought the bill with the korma on it when we requested it was removed from the bill. Again we asked - very quickly removed from the bill and we were on our way. Shame as we love supporting local businesses but also should not force the matter.More

We are v selective when it comes to Indian restaurants offering vegetarian food. This one ticks all boxes ! Paneer Masala was splendid with right kind of curry and spices and so was the veg jalfrezi. Black Daal was rightly cooked as well. But The...naans took the prize - both garlic and butter naan were crispy, fluffy and soft at the same time. Kids and adults were equally delighted as the service was also top!! Best for dinner and lunch with family and friends. Take away also available as they are v conveniently located right behind the marketplace areaMore

We were planning to eat here at night but found ourself outside at lunch so ate then instead. We were so full after our meal we couldnt go back at night ! We had poppadums and mains of vegetable Jalfrezie and Chicken Jalfrezie extra hot....As seems to be the way all over Canada they werent as hot as we would have preferred but they both tasted great after almost two weeks without curry.More
