Planned to try to eat here on New Year’s Eve and it met our expectations with their quick no wait seating in the upper village. Thrilled to get a table and meal @ 5pm without having to make a reservation or wait at all on this very busy night. Pizza was delicious quality authentic ingredients cooked in their stone oven and server was prompt and nice. Recommend this for pizza in the village!

Wow… as a longtime local I’m really sorry I haven’t brought friends here before. Called to book our large group of friends visiting and we were accommodated. Then added 4 the day of without hesitation as my family decided to join. The service was top notch , starters amazing as were the pizzas . Our group of 18 included 9 kids and they also loved the pasta and pizza!! Thank you so much !! We will be back Tim Koshul

We picked this place, partly on the menu and partly on the proximity to our hotel. It turned out to be a good decision. This restaurant is small, so if it's a Friday or Saturday night, give yourselves some extra time. The pizza is worth the wait. Great flavor combinations on the menu or make up your own. We also had the baraddo al pomodoro for an appetizer, not something you see at every pizza joint, another reason to try them out. They had several good beers on tap, which went down well with the pizza.

Aug/30/2024: we ordered a few pizzas as we normally do when we come to Whistler. The pizza dough was mushy and the border was flat, thin, doughy, exactly the opposite of what a Neapolitan pizza dough should be. The border should be fluffy and crispy. We gave 4-5 stars to Antico before but quality has been deteriorating in the past few years. They charge about $30 per individual pizza but you don't get what you pay for. There is no quality control anymore. We will no longer support Antico, unfortunately. Very disappointing.

Is there a shortage of basil in Whistler ? We ordered a pizza margarita at Pizzeria Antico - you know - red sauce, mozzarella and fresh basil. It came with three pieces of basil and we were told that more would be an added charge. The red sauce was nice - fresh and sweet. But the dough was very chewy on the edges (tasted uncooked in the middle, even though the picture shows burn marks) and the center very soggy. Combined with inattentive service, I would recommend you look elsewhere for pizza in Whistler Village.

While the food was very nice, the burrata starter with vine ripened tomatoes and pesto was tasty as was the Carne pizza with roasted mushrooms, it was the service or rather lack there of that was the reason for the poor rating. We were seated for 20 minutes before anyone came near us. We asked for a gap between the starter and the pizza but the pizza arrived well before the starter was finished. The pizza Is delivered uncut ant you are provided with kitchen scissors to cut slices. After the pizza we would have liked dessert but alas our server was no where to be found, hence no dessert.

Probably more 7/10 than 8 (4/5) but the experience was nice . Cocktails were very good and the pizza’s we had were nice. Between us we had the Carne, Davola and Prosciutto con Ruccola and also a Gnocchi di Antico. The pizza’s had a really nice taste and the crust not bad but the gnocchi was a little tougher then I’d hoped and had to much garlic which over powered everything. The espresso martini’s we had were a chocolate orange version and were really really good. A pretty busy place so booking is the best option although they do let you leave name and they put you on a wait list and call when your tables ready. Not a bad price overall and certainly worth a shout for families with kids, friends or couples.

We went twice during our time in Whistler. The happy hour is 3-5 pm and you get half priced Margherita pizza (you can’t beat an $8 pizza!) and $4 craft beer. Food is delicious, offers a diverse selection of beer on tap, friendly staff and quick service. I highly recommend you check it out!

Seems to be nice staff but apparently pretty overwhelmed. Apart from sending mixed messages „sure come over, there is space“ and then a lot of people coming are told „oh you need to wait 45min“ to „sure take-out is ready in 20 min“ and then it takes 35-45 minutes. But what strike me most is that the food for pickup is lying on the counter not being kept warm. When I asked a waiter if that’s my food, she told me she is not responsible for take-out. I‘m sure you guys can do better 😉

A few things: 1. Service by one guy behind the counter displayed non-customer centricity 2.Margarita Pizza for CAD20 - happy to pay however, please look at the photo, a bit stingy with the mozzarella and sauce and most importantly not cut into slices! 3.After the terrible initial encounter when ordering resulted in less enjoyment of the pizza. All in all, glad I did not tip.

Quite honestly the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The dough was soggy, chewy and almost impossible to cut. Very stingy with the toppings. We ordered Marguerita Classica, Napoletana and the pizza of the day. They were all equally awful.

To round out our reunion weekend, Pizzeria Antico was the highly anticipated pizza dinner that we all were looking forward to, and the experience was absolutely amazing! From the drinks, to the appetizers, and the various pizzas that we ordered for dinner, everything was simply mouthwateringly delicious! In fact, of note is how the pizzas are prepared, such that even the pizza crusts enticed the young ones (ages 10 and under), and kept them asking for more! I look forward to dining here again the next time I come to visit Whistler. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We ordered 2 pizza's, 2 Caesar salads & one order of gnocchi. We did not dine in but had the food delivered to us through Dine in Whistler. When the food arrived, 90 minutes later, only 1 pizza arrived with the caesar salads & gnocchi. Everything was stone cold, and the pizza was undercooked & surprisingly uncut. The Caesar salads, severed on top of flat bread, were very tasty, enough for 4 people. They did send the 2nd pizza about 40 minutes later, we found the flavour of the pizza very plain. The bill with delivery, tip and tax was $120

Out of the million places in the village we found pizzaria antico to be a standout offering. We split a salad and pizza. The salad was a giant pile of dressed arugula. I say that as a compliment! It was light and refreshing, a welcome change from the burgers and bistro fare elsewhere. We got the napoletana pizza, which I'm giving its own paragraph for emphasis. If you enjoy things savory, umami-y, briney this is a must-have, destination dish. Extremely simple: crushed tomatoes, garlic, anchovies. No cheese. The excellent wood fired crust is a perfect foundation for these strong flavors. Its pungent but very light, so if you're hungry plan accordingly. It would not be enough after a day of hiking or skiing or etc. Service was attentive and helpful. Room was modern, which is to say loud, and during rush they really pack the floor. Not great for quiet conversations. Wonderful choice, you will not regret it.

Very good. We struggled to get a reservation cuz the site had issues but we saw others that did so not sure what is up there. That said, we were seated shortly so it was not a big deal. They have a good selection of pizzas and a very nice pizza oven. We did the meat one which was soggy in the middle which was not ideal but flavor was good. I think maybe a different topping selection this would not be an issue so not complaining. Service was good and prices for whistler were very good. I do recommend it and would eat here again without question. Not the best pizza I ever had but it was good. Great crust.
