Saw an advertisement/review in a tourist magazine in our room and the menu sounded good for breakfast. The only problem is that apparently during the summer in Whistler the restaurants don't start serving until 9 am. So, if you want an early start, you're out of luck. We wandered around the villiage waiting for 9:00 opening to arrive and were seated immediatly (not a lot of traffice at this time...) Our breakfast was excellent, the service was excellent and to top it off they gave us a 20% discount off the meal (which I added back to their tip.) Love the generous exchange rate for CAD dollars...

Another very busy spot in Whistler. We managed to get a spot at the bar. Service was very friendly and competent, and the small menu included some well executed dishes - including wood fired pizzas - which were tasty but quite expensive.

When we arrived in Whistler and booked into our hotel, we went in search of a place to dine and we came across Caramba.
With excellent seating available we sat in an comfortable environment and a very professional floor staff gave us menus and highlighted the various dishes available from a large selection.
The food arrived in good time and it was well presented and there were generous servings and the taste was great.
Recommended.

A bit of a mixed review here. There were a number of issues with our food, causing long delays and requiring that some items needed to be refired. In the end, the appetizers and main courses were really good, although our shared dessert, theTarte Tatin, was not as hot and crispy as we'd have liked. But what was outstanding and what made all the difference in the evening was the service. Problems happen in restaurants, and it's how the staff deal with these problems that makes the big difference. Both our server and management were phenomenal - they immediately acknowledged our concerns, and they didn't try to put the problems on us, as some restaurants will do. Action was quickly taken to rectify the problems we'd encountered. So despite the issues, we left the restaurant happy and satisfied with the experience. Kudos to Caramba for handling the problems so well. As for the restaurant itself, it's crowded and busy, with not much space between the small tables, so it's not the place for a quiet intimate dinner, but a nice place to mingle and people watch.

Overall it was a great experience. I loved that they had a $30.00 3-course meal as the burger would have been $30.00. Our sever Ellie was amazing. She was prompt and had a great smile. She made us feel welcomed and had a great attitude. If I go back to Whistler I will go there again.

Big disappointment. Came here two years ago & really enjoyed our experience. Seems like many other places, the restaurant is looking to cut costs by cutting portion sizes & food quality.
We started out with their 3 items for $25 happy hour appie deal, which was a complete joke. Can’t call it a happy hour deal if you cut the portion size. We got two meatballs, a very small portion of calamari, & what I’d call a side salad. I would be irate if I ordered any of these items at their $20+ regular price. We then ordered a $32 gluten free pizza that had hardly any toppings & was barely a personal sized pizza. Service was as OK. Overall, I don’t recommend this place.

First time travelers to Whistler. Really enjoying the overall experience. Happily managed a reservation and were so glad we did. Great vibe, staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the warm bread and dip with nice wine options. The the server apologized for the delay between our shared shrimp appy but we didn't notice and it didn't feel slow. Gave us time to enjoy our wine and then came our mains. EXcellant osso bucco. Lamb shank served on perfectly done risotto. It was very rich and a substantial portion. I couldn't finish mine! While it's a high price point on the menu, it could easily be shared. We weren't able to manage a dessert. Perhaps had we shared, we could've indulged. They have a pizza oven and the finished pizzas looked yummy. Definitely would try next time. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience and we would highly recommend it as part of your Whistler experience We will be back

We were a walk-in the second last Sunday in March and they sat my wife, son and I at the small bar that overlooks the kitchen. Our server recommended calamari which combined with our Ceasar Salad was delish… a lot of times we try to order some basic items to see if a restaurant will do those well and these two items although some might think mundane were just really nice together. It was a nice start. We all ordered different pizzas because that’s what we were in the mood for. I had the roasted duck and goat cheese and I cannot remember what my wife and son had… Lol but they really loved them. we finished with a couple of desserts and my wife had a smoked espresso martini. What a presentation and she said it was fantastic. Our server was really sweet, the kitchen staff that were working in front of us were neat and organized and really seem to work together on a pretty damn busy night. Although we went to different restaurants during our week there, this was certainly a highlight.

Had an amazing dinner at CarambaThe food was outstanding—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. Iago and Melissa were exceptional , making sure we had everything we needed and adding a personal touch to the experience. The cozy atmosphere just added to the charm. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Our highlights were the ricotta, calamari and chocolate mouse to end.

I have been disappointed to see, a restaurant with this many reviews does such terrible job, It was a good place to go, and regret every dollar spent which was 140$ for three dishes, All those dishes combined doesn’t worth 20$. The sangria was 99% ice, and 1% wine. Overally, I would have been psyched to eat some eggs at home, instead of going here. So I learned when you see none of the customers has ordered food at the restaurant, RUN.

Loved Caramba. The menu is relatively small but everything coming out of the kitchen looked mouth watering.
We had a mixture of burgers and pasta. The waitress said they did the best burgers in Whistler and she wasn’t wrong.
They have a wood fired pizza oven too, and the pizzas also looked great.
Service was very good and prices were reasonable.
We will return next year

Caramba has always been one of my favourite restaurants in Whistler. A group of 8 of us went for dinner here. Our server Dax was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he genuinely cares about making a difference in your dining experience. Our entire group felt right at home, would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you again Dax, you are great at what you do! Look forward to seeing you next time we go!

We found this gem ahead of our trip and I am so glad we chose to make a reservation! The food and service were great! Our family loves Italian food and the menu had a great variety of options. Portions were sized perfectly. They had adequate gluten-free options for the celiac in our group. The location is right in the heart of the village. Our teens enjoyed chatting with the server about the conditions for snowboarding that day. Very friendly and attentive staff! Thank you for an excellent meal during our stay in Whistler!

Every time we are in Whistler we always try make it to Caramba the food is delicious and the service is alway outstanding. We have brought kids there before and they still talk about the best pizza ever. Our most recent visit we had the honour to be hostess by Kimberly, her genuine attitude was a delight. I very excited for the next visit. D&D

We went there for an early dinner on a Wednesday at 4:20pm. Happy hour is from 3-5pm. We were promptly seated and were able to quickly order several items from the happy hour menu. Food and drinks were delicious, but at about 4:50pm our server stopped coming by our table. Other servers didn’t seem interested in us even though we were craning our necks looking for our server to order more drinks before the end of happy hour. Not one server stopped to ask us if we needed anything. At 4:59pm we finally gave up and flagged down the owner/manager (we think) and asked if we could order a glass of white wine from the happy hour menu. He told us Happy hour was over and gave us a regular drink menu instead. We understand that the restaurants in Whistler have had a rough go and profits during “happy hour” aren’t as high as during peak dining hours, but how about a little customer service especially since we had been trying to get our server for the past 10 minutes. Never mind the fact that we were still not at 5:00pm, the lack of flexibility on the part of this so called manager/owner is unbelievable in the restaurant/hospitality industry. The experience left a bad taste in our mouths and we will NOT be recommending this place to any of our friends. To anyone that finds this review helpful, please be weary of this restaurant or lower your expectations on the level of service.
