Some days it is jumping, others Dodo like Been in fir apres this trip & it was busy, service was efficient Been in for lunch, not the best the best range of options, fried chicken burger was pretty poor & service was glacial, considering we...were obviously on a lesson not on a bar dayMore

I have been to this large, loud bar/restaurant three times over the past 10 days for apres-ski drinks/lunch. The drinks were great, there is a wide variety and well-priced. The food is ok. The first time everything was good, the second not everything we ordered...arrived and the bill included a few items that were delivered to the next table, the third time took forever to get the food. Both times there were problems the waiter was apologetic and either reduced the bill or provided complimentary drinks to make up for the errors. Not rushing back to eat but will pop in for a drink again.More

This restaurant/bar at. The base of Blackcomb is a good choice for a beer and burger. Prices are high for what they offer but the burgers were tasty. Conveniently located. Good choice of beers on tap and in bottles.

Visited here a few times as it is at the base of Blackcomb and we were staying at the Aspens, just a short walk down the hill. They do great appetisers and beer. The half and half onion rings and sweet potato fries are good...and the portion size was more than enough for two. Friday night was great too. Live music and drink/food specials. We were in the mezzanine above the main bar so got a great view of all the ‘apre antics’ such as people doing ‘ski shots’! Definitely a place to go with a group of friends.More

Nachos, wings and burgers are all on offer at this traditional “end of ski day” bar. Located at the base of the Blackcomb gondola, you can step right off the slopes. Younger, casual crowd. Loud with a good vibe.

The bar is located at the foot of the mountain next to the ski lifts - a very convenient place to wait for friends. In the meantime, you can eat ... you can eat ... without frills, but insanely delicious.

We were looking for a quick meal and drink and this did the job. The food is ok and the service good - pretty much what you would expect for the price range - the only thing to be slightly wary of is the noise....We went in around 6pm so it wasn't too bad, but the televisions had been turned up to maximum to accommodate some other guests who wanted to watch the cage fighting and it was difficult to have a proper conversation - not sure what it might be like later!More

Blasting the bass so loud that it could be heard inside a condo 200 meters away. Can't hear any music, just bass. The manager told me he wouldn't do anything about it. This never happened until Vail Corporation took over the mountain. Really sad that...Merlin's can't be a good neighbor.More

We came for drinks after hiking and biking in the area. We ate lunch somewhere else so I had no appetite but next time I come to Whistler I am not leaving without getting those nachos. I saw another table nearby enjoying them and they...looked fantastic. We enjoyed our cocktails and the service was attentive both inside at the bar and out on the patio. I liked the vibe here and would definitely recommend it, especially for those staying in the Upper Village area.More
