We met some friends of ours here partly because we had a fond memory of eating here together a long time ago. The service was lacking and awkward, the food was not as amazing as it could have been for the the price. Seemed like a lot of hype built up around the name, but it didn't deliver. For me... More

Have chosen The Boathouse numerous times in White Rock and never disappointed. You can't beat the view from any angle of the restaurant whether it be on the ground floor or 3rd floor rooftop patio which faces the Bay. We have enjoyed salads, entrées as well as deserts along with with each and beer pairings. This is fine dining and... More

We were very pleased they took our son, wife, and 10 month old baby and the two of us. We had a large round table towards the back, but not stuck in a corner. The restaurant is on the second floor and has good ocean views near the windows. Our son had a steak, our daughter in law had fish... More

Try to sit upstairs to get a window table. It's worth it! Seafood chowder is incredible and friendly staff make it the whole package. Make sure you have some change to pay for parking in the lots across the street. Take a stroll along the beach or train tracks.

We had a special occasion early birthday lunch with some old friends recently at the Boathouse. We have been there several times previously so we weren't surprised that the atmosphere was fantastic, the window side table perfect for the occasion and the food scrumptious.

Visited with family to this location for the first time. Menu seemed to be the same as the other location. Sunday evening at 7:30 and our waitress let us know what mmenu items they were out of. Nice to know, but don't quite understand how a seafood restaurant runs out of mussels? Lots to choose from anyways. King CRAB was... More

Good food but expensive ,we ended up spending twice as much as we usually do for the same quantity. There is no parking. You have to pay for parking ,its not much but its the principle. Its good to try once though.

Restaurant looked unkept/dirty. Prime rib was cut thinly and overcooked with a definate "off" taste. I would have rather had a smaller cut that was thicker than a flat iron steak. It seemed as though this restaurant has young inexperienced chefs as almost everything was done poorly. Veggies were hard and not cooked and the Creme brulle was as thick... More

Haven't been to White Rock in a while. Streets were packed on this sunny family day. Went to the boat house for a super lunch.
