We didn't know what to expect, just saw the open sign and decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did! The picky young one enjoyed his chicken strips and fries (stole a fry or two and they were awesome) I had...the chicken souvlaki plate and everything was delicious and the man of the house had the seafood lasagna with a side of prawns and said the sauce was excellent and it had plenty of seafood, he thoroughly enjoyed it all. The service was welcoming and friendly. Absolutely no complaints, we will be back!More
Our food was terrible. Inedible. Chicken souvlaki dry, small portions. We all could not eat our meals. Pita bread was actually undercooked naan bread. Lasagna was terrible. I can honestly say it was the worst takeout I have ever ordered. My parents said they had...eaten there before and it was good. Might wonder if the restaurant had changed hands. The souvlaki used to be $12 now $16. We felt totally ripped off.More
Last evening the wife, her sister and I enjoyed our meal at Red Rose Restaurant on King George Blvd in South Surrey. I had the Garlic Prawns with Roasted potato, the sister in law cannelloni and the wife BBQ Ribs. I am sure we will...return here.More
Red Rose is one of our favorite places for dinner in South Surrey. Excellent food - just like grandma made it - with an extensive menu and reasonable prices. House wine is excellent and inexpensive as well. Lamb is my favorite. Nothing super fancy, just...well prepared tasty food.More
We dined early Monday evening when the restaurant was busy, but not crowded. Our spinach salad arrived a few minutes after ordering - the ingredients were fresh but sparse. Our ample main course - prawn appetizer and Tandoori chicken were good and served hot. The...drawback was the hour wait for our entrée. The delay really ruined the "dining out" experience. The same thing happened when we ate there about a year ago when we were served a Greek salad fairly quickly but had to wait forever for the rest of our meal. Will choose some other restaurant when in White Rock again.More
