Absolutely love the fish/chips along with the most delicious tarter sauce at Moby's! I eat here every time I'm in White Rock. Why would ya eat anywhere else?!?!

There is a lot of choice for fish and chips in east beach, so it can be hard to choose which place to go to. They are all very similar... there is no "bad" place. If you pick Moby Dick you will be happy with your choice.

Very tasty Alaska Cod. Generous portions are the name of the game with all the fish and chip joints along Marine Drive. Lots of locals eat here. Waitresses were very friendly and fast, however the tee shirts were soiled and need a good wash.

Take a look at my review of Coney Island. I'm convinced every takeout on the beach uses the same skinny types of fish. I'm not convinced they use cod. When I buy halibut or cod from the supermarket it is usually chunky and thick. The fish at the beach take-out restaurants seems like it has been flattened with a hammer.... More

This is a funky little restaurant on the White Rock waterfront. The fish is delicious, the staff friendly and portions huge. Will be back.

If you are looking for fancy dining this is not the place. Decor is quite funky. However, the service is fast and friendly and the fish and chips are very tasty and plentiful. The clam chowder is also delicious

Generous portions of Fish & Chips. Seating to sit down was very slow. This is frustrating b/c you have to pay for parking in this area. Not a good idea for Father's Day waiting. On a quieter weekend is best. They will try to accommodate large groups on a slower weekend. Tasty fish 🐟 & Chips 🍟

Spent a few lazy lunches at Moby Dicks this summer. Always a take out and then across the street for a great lunch at the beach. Ample portions and service good considering the line ups and number calling system when order is ready. Visitors should definitely stop here and if the weather is not so good...enjoy dining inside. A favourite... More

Mobs Dick use to be the best place at White Rock but over the years it has gone downhill as they became busier. We thought we would try again to see if it had improved. After waiting and waiting for our order we found it cold. The fish had more batter than the little piece of fish we found inside.... More

They have one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. The portions are extremely generous. Very good fries also. The prices are very reasonable.

Thank Mary L
