We visited Lady of the Lake for takeout twice, while travelling across the country and back. The assortment of salads, sandwiches, pizza, and desserts is mouth-watering. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoothies are also fantastic. Our server, Bethany, very kindly let us wait outside...at a patio table with our shy rescue dog while our order was being prepared and all the staff are friendly, despite being very busy. This place is a real find and there is lots to look at (shop for) at the store attached to the cafe, while waiting.More

Was here for grand daughter's hockey showcase. Such good gluten free choices and food was so good we came here 3 times. Twice for lunch and once for Eggs Benedict on Saturday. Patti was great and served us the 3 times. The chicken caesar salad...with real chicken and gluten free warm biscuit was really good. It is great to have this place to visit in Brandon. Wish we had one in Winnipeg!More

I have been coming to Lady for a weekly lunch date with my mom and sister for years. My go to is a small wine and cheese salad with a side of salmon and biscuit. It has decreased in size by half and the salmon...is very suspect. There’s no proof it’s salmon and it’s obvious they’ve found a cheaper alternative and supplier. My salad had no cheese on it! The price went up $3 as well. This will be my last time going, especially for lunch.More

The food is very good, service is great. I didn't like the veggie burger much, but it didn't have the additives the ones you get in grocery stores do. The fruit/veggie juices are super, as are the saladas. It is open in Friday evennings for...dinner, and it hs a first rate selection. But - you shouldn't miss the weird truck outside, which is entirely covered with tecups and saucers, plus assorted chine. It is THE thing to see in Brandon. (See attached photo)More

We went here to see the "tea truck", a truck with dozens, maybe hundreds, of tea-related bits of crockery on it. Also noticed the restaurant, which was very good for vegetarians (and others). Lots of interesting choices, and all of the 2 or 3 small...dishes we had were great. The smoothies were great too - one based on green veggies, another on watermelon and reddish veggies/fruit. The best of 6 places in Brandon we tried.More

We were on the second leg of our road trip to Winnipeg and stopped here for a late lunch. Not wanting to eat at a chain, my wife found this place online and we went to check it out. Boy were we glad we did....Out front it has lots of personality with a truck covered in porcelain cups, and decorations that was delightful to behold. the restaurant was large, airy, bright and lovely. Our server Gillian was fun. I had an Aztec soup and Spinach Salad that was fresh and full of flavour. Just the right amount of food I was desiring and at a great price. Afterward we strolled through the shop and it has a great selection of fun things to examine and purchase. Brandon was ordinary but this place was extraordinary. It would be a great place to have a wedding or other big event.More

I stopped in here with my three kids. I was worried because the menu was a little more sophisticated than what we are used to. The food was delicious, even the kids agree, and we all know how difficult kids can be. I would love...to return with my husband! It was a very relaxed atmosphere with a hint of fancy. The service was great. The shop is quaint with a variety of items to choose from.More
