Ate here a few times over the course of a week. The server was very good about recommending what not to order on a particular day -- for example, "I wouldn't order the salad today". One would have expected the real deal ordering Arctic Char. We were really looking forward to it. This was a huge disappointment. It is understood that prices will be higher, but for this very small thin piece of fish, with plain white rice and a...few plain carrots, several of our party ordered it, and all seemed to regret it. We had breakfast ordering from the menu everyday of our trip and had excellent food.Diane was a TOP notch waitress who made all of us feel like family.She's special and luckily the breakfast was too!

We had a luch and a dinner here. They were good. The SubActic tour guide recommeded this place for our lunch during his day tour, and it is close to the train station (one block away) if you need a place to eat dinner before...getting on the train back to Winnipeg. We ate lunch here once and it was very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. For us, the menu was okay for lunch but not very appealing for supper - but food is subjective so others may be quite satisfied with their supper offerings.
This place is reasonably priced for Churchill where everything is expensive understandably. The salads aren't great but the sandwiches and burgers are pretty solid.
we were with Frontier North for a 5 night trip so had to eat here a few times for lunch and dinner as arranged by the tour. The menu seems to be repeating and apart from the yam fries which most of us liked, I...couldn't think of any other impressive food (that's why portion didn't matter to me because i didn't want to finish my food anyway even though I am not a picky person). The Arctic char was particularly disappointing. Desserts were also not appealing. The waitresses were perhaps too busy with catered groups so the service was just so so. The other restaurant arranged by our tour was a lot better: The Tundra Inn, both the food and the service.More
Ate with a group so selection was limited. Beer battered cod was a decent choice. Sadly, all items were frozen. Service was Ik reasonably attentive. Considering the location it was OK.
We ate here as part of the Frontiers North polar bear tour. Seaport was one of two restaurants in town where we ate dinner or lunch. The food was decent, but the portions were smaller than at the other restaurant and the staff seemed to...not cope with the numbers of customers, even though we pre-ordered our meals.More
We were part of an all inclusive group and we did not see the menu prices so we can't really compare to other joints in Churchill from that point of view. The food we had was good and for me, the portions were adequate (for...the type of activities we were doing) - but other guests remarked that portions were smaller than expected (for example the Artic Char). The service was a bit abrupt. It's a very nice restaurant, elegant and cosy at the same time. We went twice, for lunch and for dinner.More
We had lunch at Seaport Hotel. There's good things to choose from but I chose a Bison Burger with fries anf is was very good.
Seriously, I was starving when I went in. Made the decision to ask for the biggest breakfast...WOW. Ham, Bacon and sausage. Toast and pancakes. Eggs, potatoes...TOO much...I ate it all. Super nice staff, easy to find location. Great prices.
Decent place to eat. I ate there three times during my stay. I had a the crispy chicken burger which was good but salty, as was the chipotle type sauce for my yam fries - which were good. The second and third times I visited,...I had the club sandwich. It was actually really good. I had yam fries again the 2nd time and then I had a poutine the third time. Overall the food is decent pub style food. Not all menu items were available. Patio eating only - 4-5 tables - not sure why since The Tundra Inn had dine-in eating. Annoyed that I was there literally waiting for a table ... 2 tables were done eating and just hanging out drinking water and chatting for ever. The wait staff was doing nothing as I just sat there waiting ... and then I finally asked "do you have a time limit since you only have 5 tables?" Nope. I asked if he had checked in on them, said "I tell people to leave". Of course I said "Well Normally a waiter wouldn't tell people to leave, they'd simply ask .. is there anything else I can get for you?" and If they say no, you say ... ok you can pay inside when you're ready". Didn't do that so, I just sat there waiting while they drank their water and chatted ....More
