We visited this restaurant for the first time and we are not disappointed! The food was delicious (also for vegetarians), service very friendly and pleasant. It takes a little bit time until you get your order but I prefer it that way before fast service...and bland food like in other restaurants. It is worth the money and wait time. Thank you, we will come back again!More

Saperavi has so many delicious options on the menu including several vegan dishes which is super impressive and very appreciated! I highly recommend the veggie kubdari and the mushroom khinkali, you will not be disappointed. They also have a great selection of craft cocktails and...beer. This is my new favourite spot on Corydon for sure!More

Everything I have tried at Saperavi, I have thoroughly enjoyed. The food is fresh and delicious and the Schermuli is a must try. The cocktails are fantastic, particularly the Georgian Mojito. Service is fantastic on top of everything else. Saperavi is a must try!

My friends and I frequent this restaurant for the unique selection of European beers and wines as well as the delicious food. At this place, you come for the food and stay for the excellent service. My friends and I enjoyed the soko muchrooms, khachapuri,...and the chkmeruli; it is the tenderest chicken you can get! The owner and staff made a point of checking on us and making sure that we were enjoying ourselves, as well as just staying for some good conversation. We will definitely be back soon!More

I made reservations at this restaurant a short while back. We were seated BY the house staff. We did NOT seat ourselves. We flagged the staff down on a few occasions when 25-30 mins passed and no one so much as looked in our direction....We were met by a raised index finger by the waitress from a distance (the international sign for 'I'll be with you in a minute') and were never actually served. We eventually left after waiting over 30 minutes. On the way out, we told the maitre d' of the situation and she shrugged it off and said "sorry for this" as we exited. Now, this is a direct message for the owner LandisH2. I attended with a companion who also left a review. I read your response to the review. You insinuated in your response that we seated ourselves and that your waiting staff did not agree with the review. I am here to CONFIRM that everything stated in the review was accurate. How DARE you shift the blame of your incompetent staff to us. You just need to suck it up and accept it. Shifting blame to the customers and refuting their negative experiences reflects a pathetic inability to accept criticism. What a joke.More

We ordered kubdari, pork shashlyk, salad Saperavi and rice to share. The portions were huge! We started with flavourful kubdari and salad that looked like a piece of art, and when shashlyk arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. Service was quick, and friendly bartender...was very helpful to choose the wine to pair our dishes. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. Absolutely recommended!More

I had high expectations of Saperavi based on TripAdvisor reviews. I was not impressed. I shared the ground chicken and veal as well as the "traditional" chicken stew with vegetables. The ground chicken and veal tasted OK, but was very dry, and weirdly wrapped in...tortilla. Not sure if that is Georgian. The chicken stew was not good. At most, there were 6 or 7 wings in a bland liquid with a couple of chopped vegetables. I would have expected more chicken and veg. I think it may have been leftover from a previous night and either re-heated, or frozen and re-heated. The wine list was limited, and not very good. Saperavi would benefit from some advice on the wine list. Also, the restaurant is only 4 years old, but the interior is dank. It would really benefit from a makeover and some professional interior design advice. The bar didn't add to the atmosphere. It was dark and hidden by a curtain. It didn't look like a place I'd want to spend time in. Finally, the restaurant was near empty. Georgian food is a great concept, but I fear it won't survive without a commitment to better, fresh, food.More

I thank you for visiting our restaurant and taking the time to write your review. I realise that you might not have visited Georgia or been exposed to Georgian cuisine but let me clarify that the ground chicken and veal is a kebab known throughout...More

Came here on a busy Saturday night without a resveration but the restaurant, in particular the Bar manager Chris, was beyond helpful and accommodating. He was able to get a table together in a timely manner and really took the time to explain the menu...and in particular a few delicious stand out dishes. This place is highly recommendedMore
