I ordered pick-up, I have 2 reasons which brought me to rate this 2/5. Reason 1: Used a coupon which advertised 50% off of ANY pizza. Bought 2 pizzas, but was forced to use the coupon on the cheaper pizza. Had I been aware of...this fact before engaging in a transaction, I wouldn't have cared, but this is obviously not what "50% off of any pizza" leads to believe, and the case of how the coupon applies to multiple pizzas is conveniently not mentioned. I highly value transparent business, and this tactic was not transparent. So that really put a dampener on things for me. Reason 2: The pizzas were a good size, if you are a hungry person solely concerned with filling your belly. But the crust was essentially a domino's pizza crust, chewy and dry. The toppings looked interesting on menu - especially the Prosciutto Pear pizza - but were disappointing in reality as they were overdone(over-americanized?) and did not work well with the Domino's pizza crust. It was edible, but the price could've been lower to match the quality. I generally love to support local restaurants, and I imagine it is difficult to run a small restaurant in Winnipeg, especially in these covid times, but this experience disappointed me (especially the first reason) enough that I will not be returning here.More

We were visiting Winnipeg. Big review in the paper so we thought we would try it. We did make a reservation as recommended. The food we had as great. The Calamari with three different sauce options were done very well and the specialty thin crust...pizza we had was great. the crust could have been a touch thinner but the dough itself was very good. The pizza's are big enough to share and have specialty toppings so pricing was reasonable. BUT they do have to work out the logistics. Can't do much about the look - its open kitchen style make's it look more downscale then it is. We reserved but got there a bit early. Were given a table for 2 in the back between the two washroom doors even though there were a couple of 4 person tables available. One apparently was reserved, the other not. Then after our appy we had direct cold wind blowing on us from the exhaust system above our head. We explained and asked to be moved. We were put to a table for 4. Then 2 people came in and were put at a table for 4. A half a minute later we were asked to move to a table for 2 at the front because the table we were on was reserved. And the server made a comment about people usually being colder by the windows. We were not cold. We had cold air blowing directly on us. It was like she didn't understand the problem. The blowing only started half way through the meal. She also said she was having a hard time with the reservation logic. I assume some training and logic lessons will help. Set aside the reserved tables. And if people are there give them a reasonable table, don't assume you might get a bigger group. If you then give late comers a better table it doesn't look good.More

The pizza was very tasty and thin crust. Cooked to perfection. Service was great too. Will certainly go back!

Not terrible, but neither the service nor the quality of the food will see me returning again. It’s cafeteria-quality food, but without cafeteria prices. It depends what you are looking for. The premium pizza I ordered was very sparse, which augmented the dryness / hardness...of the crust. Perhaps stick to basic picks if you go here.More

Second time to Tommy's; both for dinner. Great atmosphere, pizzas and salads are fantastic. Service needs improvement - I was there with a group and the appetizers and main course came at the same time. A long wait between ordering drinks and getting them. We...had to tell them the restrooms needed attention. Another wait for the bills. Maybe someone didn't show up for a shift; will go again and hope for better service. Reservations very needed especially on a weekend.More
